Cold air blows from Xinjiang to southern China, and snowfall is concentrated in the north

According to the China Weather Network, cold air began on November 4, the first to affect Xinjiang, and then a large number of eastward and southward blowing air to south China. Affected by this, the temperature in the north generally fell by more than 10 °C in a day, the maximum exceeded 15 °C, and the decline in many places in the south will also reach about 10 °C. Among them, the temperature fluctuations in the northwest, northeast and other places are the most obvious, and after the cold air passes, the cold and warm quickly switch.

In addition to cooling, this strong cold air will also bring rain and snow, from the 5th to the 7th, China's central and eastern regions will usher in a wide range of rain and snow weather, snowfall areas will be concentrated in the north. According to Hu Xiao, chief meteorological analyst of China Weather Network, the snow in Inner Mongolia and Northeast China is the strongest, and this round of cold air process in central and eastern Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning and other parts of the region can reach the magnitude of blizzard, which will be the first round of heavy snowfall encountered in northeast China this winter, and the risk of disasters is not ruled out.

This weekend, most of the north has the strongest chill, the large range of temperatures will hit a new low in the second half of this year, and the air conditioning will also be blown all the way to south China. In large cities, the maximum temperature in Hohhot on the 7th will plummet to -3 °C, Harbin will fall to the freezing point, and the temperature in Tianjin, Jinan and other places will also drop to single digits; the temperature trough in the south is mainly concentrated in next Monday, and the maximum temperature in Shanghai, Hangzhou and other places will drop to early 10 °C, and the cold is obvious. The remaining summer in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian may be completely ended.

The cold air cooling is fierce, which may reach the cold wave standard, and will be the most extensive cold air affecting China in the second half of this year.

The minimum temperature in Beijing drops to about -4 °C, and the smog in North China and other places will dissipate

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that on the morning of the 7th, the minimum temperature line of 0 °C is located in central Hebei, southern Shanxi and southern Shaanxi, and the minimum temperature in the Beijing Plain can drop to about -4 °C.

In addition to the severe cooling, the cold wave also brings strong winds. From the 4th to the 7th, most parts of china were accompanied by northerly winds of magnitude 4 to 6 and gusts of 7 to 8. From the 4th to the 5th, there will be floating dust or sand in the southern Xinjiang Basin, western Gansu, western Inner Mongolia and other places; from the 7th to the 8th, there will be 6 to 7 winds in the Bohai Sea, the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea, and gusts of 8 to 10.

In addition, from the 5th to the 8th, most of the central and eastern regions will have precipitation processes. Among them, there will be sleet or rain-to-snow in the eastern part of the northwest region, inner Mongolia, the western and northern parts of north China, and the northeast region, and there will be heavy to heavy snow in parts of eastern Inner Mongolia, northeast China and northeast China. The North China Plain and the areas south of it are dominated by rainfall.

Affected by high winds and precipitation, from the night of the 6th, the continuous fog or haze weather in central and southern North China, Huanghuai, Jianghan and other places will gradually weaken and dissipate from north to south.

Meteorological experts remind that the cold wave weather process has the characteristics of wide range of influence, large cooling range and strong wind. The public needs to pay attention to temperature changes, increase clothing in time, and beware of colds. In addition, there will be sleet or rain to snow in the northwest region, Inner Mongolia, north China, northeast China and other places, and it is necessary to pay attention to the adverse impact of wet roads, snow and ice on traffic travel caused by rain and snow weather, and reasonably arrange travel time.
