"Stupid, I'm an entertainer!" "Netflix's Takeshi Kitano biopic "Asakusa Kid" released a new Chinese character trailer, the troupe alone ("Sunny Thunderbolt") self-written and self-directed, starring Yumi Yanagi and Hiroshi Oizumi, will be launched on December 9.
Based on takeshi Kitano's song "Asakusa Kid" and an autobiography of the same name, the film is set in Asakusa, Tokyo in the Showa 1940s, and revolves around Chisaburo Fukami's journey of training Takeshi Kitano.
Yumi Yanagi plays the young Takeshi Kitano, Hiroshi Ozumi plays his master, the legendary entertainer Chisaburo Fukami, Nanami Suzuki plays Mari, the wife of the master Fukami, Motowaki plays Chiharu, a dancer who targets singers, and Shinyuki Tsuchiya plays Takeshi Kitano's cross-talk partner.
