Two years after Japan's defeat, Takeshi Kitano was born in Shimomachi Ashikaku-ku, Tokyo's slums. Takeshi Kitano is the youngest child in the family, and he has two older brothers and an older sister.
His surname, Kitano, was the surname of his mother's ex-husband, and his father, Kikujiro, was a door-to-door son-in-law who was 50 years old at the time of his birth and was a tattooed painter. Like to gamble, go to the tavern to drink, buy drunk and come back to beat his wife. On weekdays, he is quite stingy, and will cook soup and drink his daughter's pet, burn Kitano's baseball bat as firewood, and dance striptease at his son's wedding.

In 1994, when Kitano Takeshi was drunk and riding a motorcycle to find a girlfriend to date, he felt that riding a motorcycle was not easy to be tracked by paparazzi, and as a result, there was a car accident on the road, half of his face was directly embedded in the guardrail on the side of the road, and then after several major surgeries to retrieve a life, and finally the left half of his face became paralyzed.
It was during his convalescence that Kitano Successfully learned the skill of painting, and after being discharged from the hospital, he directed his most famous film "Hanabi", using his paintings in many scenes in the film, perfectly fit the protagonist's state of mind, the film eventually won the Golden Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival, the third person in Japanese history to win this award, after which he was considered by the Japanese film master Akira Kurosawa as the successor of Japanese cinema.

Takeshi Kitano had decided for the first few decades of his life that he had the worst parents in the world.
His father Kikujiro's favorite things are gambling, drinking, and occasionally coming home drunk and beating his wife, the two can't talk at all on weekdays, and the childhood Takeshi Kitano hated and feared his father Kikujiro. Finally, when Kikujiro was seriously ill and hospitalized, he confessed to Kitano Takeshi: "Regret not talking to Kobu a few times", Kitano Takeshi replied to him at that time "Don't you think it's too late"? Later, while he was leaving the hospital at noon for dinner, Kikujiro died. Takeshi Kitano wrote in his book; "It was many years before I understood what I had missed that day."
In 1999, Kitano Takeshi directed himself and acted in "Kikujiro's Summer" based on his father, only to slowly recall the warmth of the pulse between father and son, Kikujiro would often grin at him, he would help Kikujiro brush paint, he would go to the tavern to pick kikujiro home, and in winter the father and son would take a bath together, and it turned out that there was also this warm moment between them.

In fact, the most annoying thing for Kitano is that he once asked his mother why Saki gave birth to him? Aki said: "I gave birth to you because I didn't have money for an abortion." This sentence is also doomed to a decades-long contest between mother and child.
