Wang Meng, male, Han ethnicity, member of the Communist Party of China, born in October 1934, Nanpi, Hebei, honorary vice chairman of the Chinese Writers Association, former minister of culture, member of the 8th, 9th and 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. As a literary creator who grew up with the Republic, he witnessed the development of contemporary Chinese literature. His works such as "Long Live Youth", "New Young People from the Organization Department", "Activities Change into Human Form", "This Side of the Landscape" and other representative and pioneering significance, have been translated into more than twenty languages and published in various countries. The excavation has cultivated a large number of outstanding young writers and made outstanding contributions to the prosperity and development of contemporary Chinese literature. Won the 9th Mao Dun Literature Award and the National Outstanding Short Story Award.
