Zhang Xinguo is a Distinguished Professor of the Department of Industrial Engineering of Tsinghua University, a former deputy general manager of Aviation Industry Corporation of China, and the president of the China Aeronautical Research Institute. He has won the special prize, first prize and second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the provincial and ministerial awards for many times, enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council, and won the "Founder" Award of the International Society of Systems Engineering in 2018. His research interests include Complex Organizational Architecture (EA), Complex Systems Engineering (SoSE), Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Industrial Informatization, and Intelligent Manufacturing.
