Lianhe Zaobao reported on November 1 that Cromwell European REIT spent 19.6 million euros to acquire freehold logistics real estate in Veneto, Italy.
This is the Trust's third logistics asset in Italy. The Trust issued a statement today stating that the property is a light industrial/logistics warehouse covering an area of 47,787 square meters, including a warehouse and small offices with a total gross floor area of 27,938 square meters.
The property is currently fully leased to London-listed Reckitt Benckiser Group for a period of more than 8 years. The tenant is a major global FMCG company with a market capitalisation of £39 billion.
