According to this year's supervision work plan, the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress will listen to and review the report of the municipal government on the overall promotion of the reform and upgrading of the Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone in July. On the afternoon of May 9, the supervision work kick-off meeting was held. The reporter was informed that based on the needs of high-tech industries and future industrial development trends, the city has clarified the positioning of the leading industries of each branch of Zhongguancun, and guided the branches to form a differentiated development trend based on their own resource endowments.
According to the work plan, the special supervision will focus on the reform of the management system and mechanism of the branch park, the optimization of the layout of the space and industrial planning of the branch park, the optimization and improvement of the innovative ecological environment, the guarantee of public services and the expansion of open cooperation. From May to early June, the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress will organize 6 special research groups to go to the representative and differentiated Zhongguancun Changping Park, Chaoyang Garden, Yimanor, Daxing Garden, Fangshan Park, Tongzhou Park and other branches for field research, and widely listen to the opinions and suggestions of other branches, enterprise representatives, experts and scholars.
According to the relevant responsible comrades of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Zhongguancun Management Committee, based on the needs of high-tech industries and future industrial development trends, the city determines the development direction of the leading industries in the branch park in accordance with the layout of one branch park generally not more than 3 leading industries and the layout of one subdivision in principle not more than 3 branches. In Haidian Park, an artificial intelligence large-scale model industrial agglomeration area will be laid out, and an industrial layout will be formed with Haidian Park as the core and radiating to Yimanor, Chaoyang Park and other areas. At present, 107 large models have been filed and launched across the country, and 47 have been implemented in Zhongguancun. With Haidian Park and Yimanor as the core, we will further promote the development of the integrated circuit industry. The implementation of the medical and health collaborative innovation action plan, the urban area has introduced more than 20 industrial supporting policies, and formed the overall layout of "north research and south production" in Haidian Park, Changping Park, Daxing Park and Yi Manor. Support Daxing Park to build the "China Medicine Valley" brand, and build Zhongguancun Synthetic Biology Manufacturing Industry Cluster in Changping Park. Accelerate the agglomeration and development of high-end manufacturing and new energy and new material industries, introduce a commercial aerospace action plan, support the construction of "Rocket Street" in Yimanor and "Satellite Town" in Haidian Park, and build a development pattern of "South Arrow and North Star". In conjunction with Yanqing District, the UAV action plan was issued to plan the layout of the characteristic industrial park.
At the same time, in order to enhance the transformation of achievements and business incubation capabilities of each park, the city has issued guidance on the innovation and development of science and technology business incubators, and laid out benchmark incubators around the positioning of the leading industries of each branch park. Efforts will be made to build a financial support system, promote the establishment of the first phase of the Zhongguancun Independent Innovation Special Fund with an initial scale of 5 billion yuan, and set up four new 10-billion-level government direct investment industry funds around artificial intelligence, biomedicine and other fields.

From May 5th to 9th, Aba Lund, CEO of the International Association of Science and Technology Parks (IASP), Francesca Antoniazi, Head of Publicity and Events, and Elena Aguado, Event and Marketing Manager, came to Beijing to study and discuss the preparations for the IASP2025 World Congress, and conducted a survey of the conference venue, inspected the main venue, branch venues, social dinner venues, science and technology visits, cultural visits and other points, and met with Zhang Yulei, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Management CommitteeThe meeting time, agenda framework and meeting venue arrangement were preliminarily determined.
After a five-day field visit, the IASP headquarters highly recognized the new achievements of Beijing's scientific and technological innovation and development and the new progress of the development of the science and technology park, and fully reflected the development achievements of the Beijing science and technology park in the overall activity arrangement of the IASP2025 World Congress. For example, for the first time, the agenda framework of the IASP World Congress was broken through, and the Beijing Science and Technology Park Docking Activity Section was added to the proposed four-day agenda of the IASP2025 World Congress, and the duration of the World Congress was increased to five days. For the first time, the original conference organization method of the IASP World Congress was broken, and a branch venue of Zhongguancun Life Science Park was set up in Changping District to go deep into the front line of the park and carry out face-to-face exchanges with innovative subjects.
In the next step, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Zhongguancun Management Committee will fully tap the network resources of IASP global science and technology parks, expand the influence of Beijing science and technology parks, build a platform for exchanges and cooperation in international science and technology parks, accelerate the construction of world-leading science and technology parks, and build a key hub for global innovation networks.

On May 10, Alibaba Beijing Chaoyang Science and Technology Park was officially put into use. As a key project in Beijing, the park will host nearly 19,000 Alibaba digital economy talents in the future, helping Chaoyang District build a core area of digital economy. Employees from Alibaba Group's business lines such as Taotian, Alibaba Cloud, Alibaba Entertainment, and Quark have settled in the new Beijing campus.

BeiGene's PD-1 inhibitor tislelizam ® was approved for the 13th indication in China
On April 30, BeiGene (Beijing) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. announced that the PD-1 inhibitor tislelizumab ® has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration of China for the first-line treatment of locally advanced unresectable or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma.
The approval is based on the final analysis results of the RATIONALE-305 trial. The results also set a new record for the survival of advanced gastric cancer in the global population and the Chinese population, with the median overall survival (mOS) of tislelizumab combined with chemotherapy reaching 15 months, significantly reducing the risk of death by 20%, and the median overall survival of the Chinese population reaching 15.7 months.

Baidu's lane-level map data is fully open and cooperative
Recently, Beijing Baidu Netcom Technology Co., Ltd. announced that since May 1, Baidu Maps has fully opened cooperative lane-level map data (referred to as "LD map") to the advanced assisted driving industry.
The LD map has covered 360 prefecture-level cities and 3.6 million kilometers of high-speed and urban roads across the country, and has completed the advanced assisted driving verification and fully unmanned driving verification of relevant car companies. The newly released lane-level navigation product based on LD map has been launched on Baidu Maps App.
