5. Distillation

Grinding has two roles in alchemy:
One is to make the drug finely crushed, so that in the future, when mixing, each particle has more contact opportunities, and it is easy to cause chemical changes;
Another effect is to make the drug fused in the grinding, such as the grinding of sulfur and mercury, into a green sand head (that is, crude mercury sulfide), which is the truth. 7. Sublimation
Sublimating a fly or ascend is a method that alchemists are familiar with. Any method that can be sublimated or scattered by heat. Alchemists call it bufu. The vast majority of Dan is refined by sublimation. In the many Ding and Kui mentioned above, they all have the effect of sublimation. Taiyi Thiolphantine in "Taiqing Youbi". Examples such as TaiyiXiong Huangdan and Taiyi Xiaohuandan are demonstrations of the sublimation method.
8. Mud method
The mud method has two uses:
One is to apply mud to the joint so that it does not deflate;
One is a hot insulator or makes the temperature not sharp.
For example, the loess paper tendon mud in Taiyi Xiaohuan Dan can be used dual-use. Another example is the light powder method of stove ash salt cement, powder frost method of salt soil mud. All for seams. In addition to this effect, sometimes mud also participates in chemical reactions.
The most prestigious of the mud is the June 1 mud. This is recorded in the "Baopuzi Inner Chapter", which is composed of rong salt, halo alkali, alum stone, oysters, red stone fat, talc, hu powder and other things, with six plus one so named Liuyi, but it also has many different methods.
