Kublai Khan, the ancestor of the Yuan Dynasty

Kublai Khan (23 September 1215 – 18 February 1294) was a Mongol politician and military strategist. The fourth son of The Guardian Torre, Brother Meng of Yuanxianzong. The fifth khan of the Great Mongol State and the founding emperor of the Yuan Dynasty. The Mongolian honorific title is "Xuechan Khan".

In 1251, Möngke appointed Kublai Khan as the prime minister of the Southern Han Dynasty, stationed in the land of Yakudu. He successively served as a Han Confucian official in charge of Xingzhou Prefecture, established a general in Bieliang, straightened out the military and government of Henan (present-day Luoyang), and tun tian tang and deng, and received positive results. In 1253, he was granted the fiefdom of Jingzhao (present-day Xi'an, Shaanxi). In the same year, Kublai Khan was ordered to go on an expedition to Yunnan with the general Wu Lianghetai to destroy the Dali state. In 1258, Möngke xing attacked the Southern Song Dynasty and appointed Kublai Khan to act as the general of the Eastern Route Army. In September 1259, Möngke died of illness at the Hezhou Front. In March 1260, Kublai Khan was under the tutelage of some of the kings, that is, Khan was located in Kaiping, jianyuan zhongtuo. Kublai Khan relied on the rich manpower and material resources of the Han Dynasty to send troops to defeat Ali Buge.

In 1271 (to the eighth year of the Yuan Dynasty), the founding name was Dayuan, and it was determined that Dadu would be the capital. In 1274 (to the eleventh year of the Yuan Dynasty), He Boyan made a major attack on the Song Dynasty. In 1279 (to the sixteenth year of the Yuan Dynasty), the remnants of the Southern Song Dynasty exiled in Yashan were finally eliminated, and the great unification of the whole country was completed.

After the unification of the country, Kublai Khan reused the Hui people Ahma, who later became independent of the government. In 1282 (to the nineteenth year of the Yuan Dynasty), most of the assassinations of Ahma by wang zhu and high monks occurred. After that, Kublai Khan successively appointed Lu Shirong and Sang Ge to supervise finances, all of which ended in failure. During the same period, Kublai Khan sent successive expeditions to Japan, Annam, Champa, Burma and Java, all of which were unsuccessful. However, resisting the intrusion of the northwest kings such as Haidu and Duwa and the rebellion of the northeastern kings of Naiyan had a certain positive effect.

In 1294 (to the 31st year of the Yuan), Kublai Khan died of illness and was the ancestor of the temple.
