The charge of the Winter Olympics has been sounded. Chinese ice and snow athletes have high morale, work hard, sweat and constantly climb new heights, and look forward to their bloom on the stage of the Winter Olympics

A few days ago, Chinese ice and snow athletes who are actively preparing for the Beijing Winter Olympics have continued to create good results: the pair skating duo Sui Wenjing / Han Cong won the championship at the 2021-2022 Figure Skating Grand Prix in Canada; 17-year-old snowboarder Su Yiming successfully completed the ultra-difficult action of "1980 degrees of internal rotation", becoming the first athlete in the world to complete this action; young player Yang Wenlong completed the snowboarding "inner turn flip 1980 degrees" and successfully unlocked a new ultra-difficult action. With less than 100 days to go before the opening of the Beijing Winter Olympics, athletes are racing against the clock and sprinting with all their might.

Every time you surpass yourself, you come from the persistence and unremitting efforts of your dreams. Sui Wenjing and Han Cong have both encountered injury and illness problems, but they have never stopped moving forward. This season, their free skating once again chose the soundtrack "Golden Bridge on the River of Sorrows", which was the song when Sui Wenjing returned to the field after defeating injuries in the 2016-2017 season. Familiar melodies tell new stories of struggle. Over the years, they have tasted the joy of winning the championship in international competitions, and they have also experienced the regret of passing shoulders with the winter Olympic gold medal, injuries and difficulties are like shadows, but their desire for victory has never changed.

The charge of the Winter Olympics has been sounded. Chinese ice and snow athletes have high morale, work hard, sweat and constantly climb new heights. The "flying" on the snow track is more like a challenge to the self, long-term hard training and polishing of details, so that Su Yiming and Yang Wenlong successfully broke through the "ceiling" of action difficulty, which is a breakthrough made after countless falls, climbs, and then starts, and also depends on the continuous improvement of the team's training preparation and support system.

Looking back at the successful bid of Beijing and Zhangjiakou for the Winter Olympics in 2015, about 1/3 of all the small events of the Winter Olympics in China have not yet been launched. After more than 6 years of overcoming difficulties and forging ahead, China's ice and snow sports have embarked on a leapfrog development path in accordance with the preparation strategy of "expanding the area, fixing the point, elite troops, and sprinting": at present, 29 national training teams for ice and snow projects and about 480 athletes are "sprinting" towards the Winter Olympics and realizing the training and preparation of the whole project.

In less than 100 days, the Beijing Winter Olympics are about to kick off. In the critical stage of preparing for the Winter Olympics, strengthening confidence, defusing pressure and adjusting the state have become the key words. Chinese ice and snow athletes are about to usher in the dream of the arena and look forward to their blooming on the stage of the Winter Olympics.
