Singles and doubles comeback! Paris Masters: Djokovic partner or challenge for world number one

On November 1, Beijing time, Novak Djokovic will make full use of his long-awaited return to the ATP Tour next week, while signing up for the Paris Masters singles and doubles matches, apparently to warm up for the year-end finals, The Davis Cup finals and next year's Australian Open.

Novak Djokovic has won the Paris Masters five times, his first match since the US Open final defeat to Daniel Medvedev. Djokovic has only played in two doubles tournaments this season (ATP Cup, Mallorca), all against compatriot Philippe Krajinovic.

The Serbian, who is the top seed, is a first-round bye and faces the winner in the second round between Matton Fossovic (3-0) and Fabio Fognini (8-0), and the third round opponent may be the 15th seed, local macho Gil Monfils (17-0). It is worth mentioning that Andy Murray, who plays with a wild card, is also in the first half of the zone, and may encounter the 9th seed Aliassim in the second round. If both sides go far enough, they are expected to meet for the first time since the Qatar Open in January 2017.

In the doubles match, Novak Djokovic/Philippe Klaginovic played with a wild card, facing the Australian duo of Alex Deminal/Luke Savelli in the first round and the No. 6 seed John Pierce/Philippe Poracek in the second round. If they can go any further, they are expected to challenge the top seed, Tokyo Olympic champion Nemanja Matic/Pavic.
