Beijing: Primary and secondary school students in Haidian start nucleic acid testing

Starting today, nucleic acid testing will be carried out for all primary and secondary school students in Haidian District, and vaccination of kindergarten children aged 3 to 11 and primary school students will start at the same time. In addition, all on-the-job teachers and staff in the district will conduct nucleic acid testing, and the vaccine enhancement injection will be "fully received".

According to the Haidian District Education Committee, the nucleic acid testing of all primary and secondary school students in the district will be carried out in all schools, monday to Friday, and will not occupy the weekend. According to the arrangement, the nucleic acid testing and screening of primary and secondary schools adopt the package of testing institutions designated by the health department, the school district docking and coordination, the school separately organizes, and enters the school one by one. Primary schools are completed before New Year's Day and secondary schools are completed before winter break.

The vaccination work for 3 to 11 years old in Haidian District was also launched today, for children in kindergartens (over three years old) and primary school students in the district, and the hospitals in the location determined by the Haidian District Health Commission will be vaccinated. The kindergarten is coordinated by the school district, the kindergarten counts the number of people, and uses two weekends to hold a special session for children's vaccination, to the vaccination point designated by the Health Commission, led by the parents to carry out vaccination, and the school district and kindergarten to the vaccination point and the peripheral security unit are coordinated and organized by the primary school; the primary school is coordinated by the school district and the school is organized by each school, and the vaccination is carried out in the form of admission to the district hospital.

The first dose of student vaccination will end by the end of November, the second dose by the end of December, and the re-vaccination by the end of January next year. Among them, kindergartens use weekends to vaccinate, and primary schools are vaccinated during school from Monday to Friday. It is worth noting that other vaccines (such as influenza vaccines) need to be spaced more than 14 days apart, and the new crown virus vaccine is prioritized.

All teachers and staff of the education system in Haidian District will also carry out nucleic acid testing and COVID-19 vaccine enhancement vaccination, for all on-the-job teachers and staff of all units, including non-staff, temporary employment, cleaning, security, and canteen staff.
