On the morning of March 18, Dong Yongpeng, a member of the fourth batch of Anhui medical teams supporting Hubei and a nurse in the emergency department of the High-tech Branch of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University, returned to Hefei on a chartered plane with his comrades-in-arms, accompanied by his lover and colleague Liu Xialing. Did the colleagues around you know you were a newlywed couple?
At first, everyone didn't know. Because we are all working as strangers, just to avoid causing trouble for others. In fact, I don't want anyone to have a psychological burden, we came to Wuhan to work, so the first is still work, and the rest are all for work! We were placed in different groups and worked different hours, so we didn't see each other at all.

What kind of work is mainly responsible for in the intensive care ward?
We were in charge of the intensive care unit of Wuhan Union Cancer Hospital in Wuhan, and the patients inside were in a relatively serious condition at that time, so we had to wear protective clothing every time we went in. We remember very clearly one time, my lover once wore a protective suit, probably after 4 hours in it, he was very nauseous and wanted to vomit, and he endured for 6 hours after work and finally took off the mask The first thing he did was to vomit there.

Faced with the intense work in the intensive care unit, Dong Yongpeng, Liu Xialing and their colleagues would cheer each other up to relieve fatigue and tension. And patients who have been discharged from the hospital have also given them more strength.
Every time when we finish putting on our protective clothing at work, we will shout a few cheers together, and then we will go into the isolation ward, so that our hearts will be full of morale. It feels like every day we experience things that fill us with a lot of power, like the grandparents we see in care, who don't have any hope for their condition at first, and finally they are discharged from the hospital in good health. There are also some patients, his family is infected with the new crown virus, every day in a state of sadness, through our care, we have some care for his mood, he was finally able to recover and be discharged from the hospital, reunited with his family. Every time I think about this, I feel that my tear point is very low, and I feel that I have come very meaningfully.
