Dong Yongpeng's Anhui supported the fourth batch of medical teams in Hubei to take over the Z11 severe ward of Wuhan Union Cancer Center, which was temporarily transformed by the cancer center, and on the second day of the takeover, all 64 beds were full.
Many jobs in critical care settings are at high risk. At every moment, operations such as tracheal intubation of critically ill patients and throat swab collection, which may pose a great risk to medical staff, are carried out like firefighting, and medical staff are under tremendous pressure, both physically and psychologically.
On the "battlefield", the fight is not only physical strength, endurance, but also willpower, before entering the ward, do not dare to eat more or drink more, put on diapers, and then put on the surgical gown. Due to the poor breathability of protective clothing, it will feel hot when dry, and it will be very cold when wet. Wrapped in thick protective clothing, people will be unnaturally hypoxic. Making forms and writing nursing records in the ward is almost always done by squinting my eyes and approaching the computer.
Dong Yongpeng's lover once entered the isolation ward to take charge of the work of the responsible nurse, and the bed she managed had a patient who was more ill, and helping the patient turn over, pat his back, and do physical function exercises became a must for every class. Due to the long period of manual labor, she had a nausea reaction that made it difficult to breathe. Once, Dong Yongpeng went to test his grandmother's blood sugar, and her grandmother scolded him as a liar and a bad person.
