Beijing, 5 Nov (Xinhua) -- In order to further arouse the enthusiasm of the whole people for the Olympic Games and call on the vast number of young people to actively participate in sports and learn to carry forward the sportsmanship of pursuing excellence and tenacious struggle, the "Youth Without Regrets" Sharing Meeting on the Olympic Spirit of Chinese Youth was held at China Youth Daily on 5 November.

According to reports, the event was guided by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, sponsored by China Youth Daily, supported by the Qinhuangdao Training Base of the State General Administration of Sports, and supported by Ningxia Hong public welfare. Zhu Yaming, the silver medalist of the men's triple jump at the Tokyo Olympic Games, also issued the "Youth Without Regrets" National Fitness Movement Initiative to the whole society as a representative of athletes, calling on young people across the country to strive to be propagandists who carry forward the Olympic spirit, strive to be practitioners of the national fitness movement, strive to be the leaders of scientific fitness, actively participate in the national fitness boom, and contribute to healthy China and sports power.

At the sharing meeting, Pang Wei and Zhu Yaming, who won the gold medal in the 10-meter air pistol mixed team at the Tokyo Olympic Games, respectively told the stories behind perseverance and breakthrough. Zheng Tao, the "Four Golden Kings" who broke the Paralympic record in swimming events four times at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, Wang Jiachao, the first "one-armed iron man" who represented China in the Paralympic Triathlon competition in history, and Zhang Honghu, a meritorious coach who has dedicated 33 years of youth to the swimming of the disabled in China, also appeared at the sharing meeting, interpreting the power of hard work with the touching stories of disabled athletes. In addition, Gong Lijiao, the women's shot put champion at the Tokyo Olympic Games, and Hou Zhihui, the gold medalist in the women's weightlifting 49 kg category, shared their stories of realizing their Olympic dreams through online sharing.
