At present, the recruitment of volunteers for the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games has been basically completed, and the training of volunteers for the Games has been carried out in an all-round way.

Volunteers for the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games will provide services for 12 competition venues, 3 training venues, 26 non-competition venues and other key service facilities in three competition areas in Beijing and Hebei. The service categories include ten categories, such as external liaison, competition operation, media operation and broadcasting, and venue operation. Zhang Lina, deputy director of the Volunteer Department of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, said that since the registration of volunteers for the Games closed on June 30, after online and offline interviews, the 41 business fields of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee have admitted nearly 20,000 volunteers from the registered volunteers, most of whom are from universities in Beijing and Hebei.

Zhang Lina: Student volunteers and youth volunteers are the main force of our volunteers throughout the Winter Olympic Games. We have designed four stages of training work, general training can be said to be the basis of our entire training, and professional, venue, and job training are our key.

Each volunteer source university will also formulate a personalized general training program according to the actual situation, and the general training for volunteers will be completed at the end of December. Seven days before the official operation of each venue or facility, the venue and on-the-job training will be conducted after the volunteers of the games take up their posts.
