Zigong City, Sichuan Province, is the world-famous Jurassic "dinosaur town", this time to the Guangdong Provincial Museum of Zigong dinosaurs a total of 20, including Bashan chief dragon, Tianfu Emei dragon, Peace Yongchuan dragon and so on.
This large-scale family parent-child exhibition with the theme of "Crossing the Age of Dinosaurs and Exploring the World of Dinosaurs" is mainly viewed by audiences aged 5-12. The exhibition is mainly divided into three parts: the first part, "Dinosaur World", exhibits a number of large dinosaur fossils, and the birth of dinosaur treasures. The second part, "Dinosaurs Flying in the Blue Sky", popularizes the hypothesis that "birds evolved from feathered dinosaurs". The third part, "'Fake Dinosaurs', Mixed into the Dinosaur Circle", reveals the food of dinosaurs' close relatives, distant neighbors, and "fake dinosaurs" for science popularization.
The exhibition is hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Museum and co-organized by the Zigong Dinosaur Museum.

During the exhibition, a variety of educational activities such as "Dinosaurs Wear Cantonese", "Have a Fight, Disassemble and Assemble Dinosaurs", "Dinosaur Expedition Team - Dinosaur Fossil Excavation Course", "Heaven and Earth in the Shell - Dinosaur Egg Theme Course", "Dragon Hero Weapon Knowledge", "Theme Salon: Open Your Wings, Fly to the Blue Sky - The Evolution from Dinosaurs to Birds" and other rich and diverse educational activities have been launched one after another; and paleontologists such as Wang Qiang, Xing Lida, Wang Wei, and Xing Luda will be invited to bring scientific lectures with different themes.

Two dinosaur fossils can be touched and not to be missed
According to the curator of the exhibition, there are two dinosaur fossils in the exhibition hall that can be touched, one is the cervical vertebrae of Emei Dragon and the other is the femur of sauropod dinosaurs, and you must remember to touch these precious specimens from hundreds of millions of years ago.
Will multi-person touch have a negative impact on these precious specimens? Curators say there is no need to worry, because the skeleton specimen has been petrified into fossils, and visitors to the exhibition can touch it with confidence. In addition, the curators especially introduced that the fossils of paleontology represented by dinosaurs are difficult to maintain the integrity of the overall skeleton because they have been buried underground for a long time. "If the original bone content is about 25%, it can be called a fossil specimen."

Tianfu Emei Dragon ● Location: Sichuan Zigong Dashanpu ● Era: Middle Jurassic
Tianfu Emeilong was a large long-necked sauropod dinosaur. The stone bones are relatively large, the teeth are spoon-shaped, and the long neck consists of 17 vertebrae. The limbs are skeletal and live mainly in the vast alluvial plains, feeding on the canopy of tall trees. It is an adult individual skeleton with a body length of about 17 meters.
Taibai Huayang Dragon ●Location: Sichuan Zigong Dashanpu ●Era: Middle Jurassic
Taibai Huayang Dragon is a small to medium-sized primitive stegosaurus. This stone bone is wedge-shaped, large and thick, with lobed teeth, and the sword plate on the back of the body changes greatly. These animals usually live in the jungle areas along rivers and lakes, feeding on tender shrub leaves. The skeleton is 4.3 meters long and is the world's first surviving stegosaurus.
Heping Yongchuan Dragon ●Location: Heping Township, Zigong, Sichuan ● Era: Late Jurassic
The Heyongawa dragon was a large carnivorous dinosaur with a low, long and thick skull of more than 1 meter, and relatively small teeth, but sharp, and dagger-shaped. The neck is short, with a torso consisting of 14 double-flat dorsal vertebrae that are slightly longer than other Megalodons in the Jurassic Period, with high intestinal bone, and the foot-like process at the distal pubic and sciatic bones is more developed. The forelimbs are degenerate, and the strong hind limbs have sharp, thick claws at the ends of the toes. It was a ferocious and terrifying carnivorous dinosaur, preying on plant-eating dinosaurs or other animals. The well-preserved skeleton is about 9 meters long and is the most complete carnivorous dragon known in Asia.
