In a long river of flow, the ancient rare old man injects new genes to make the opera continue to prosper, which can be described as: all the way to create a song.
However, one decision that still makes me unbelievable is that in 1982 (director of Zhan Shou Chuxue) decided that a large-scale drama "Qi Wang Rama" would be created by him and directed by him. I couldn't believe how I could make Zhan Shou shoulder such a heavy responsibility? We know that from graphic literature to three-dimensional literature, how easy is it to stand on the stage? Besides, the play (the newly created repertoire) is out of order? Whether or not the word "worry" comes from the heart...."Qi Wang Rama" began filming, the first chapter Wu Yi led troops to attack the city, Zhong Fei was ordered to meet the battle, and Wu Yi collapsed in the fierce battle. In particular, the treatment of character transformation is not only sparse, but also the use of skills with the characters to go to the ring and the link. Is this due to the sense of innovation? Through the inspection of Zhan Shou's rehearsal, not only dispelled my scruples, but also strengthened my belief in playing the King of Qi, the play under the prompting of Director Dai, all departments worked together to create, in a short period of time "Qi Wang Rama" quickly appeared on the stage. The premiere was a success. In 1984, our institute invited Peking Opera masters Li Wanchun, Yuan Shihai, Li Huiliang, and Wei Xikui to come and direct "Qi Opera", and several experts at the symposium spoke in unison, the theme of the play was good, the intention was high, and the performance was good. "Qi Wang Rama" has been performed for a long time in the land of the Three Jins, and it should be said that it is quite related to Dai Dao's arduous creation. In recent years, Dai has made many successful works.
As far as I was concerned about "Killing The Horse", after he revised and sorted it out many times, the play was gradually perfected. In 1981, when he entered Beijing to perform, experts and scholars spoke highly of the play, especially the handling of the ending, which was deeply wonderful.
