Running, which has always been a human instinct, is now gradually becoming a way of life. Numbers are the product of people's understanding of the world, and they record objective and subtle changes.
When "running" and "numbering" are superimposed, I seem to be able to see the bits and pieces that have been running all the way over the past few years. This year, the sixth year of my running, but also the fifth anniversary of the Chengdu Marathon, the long-awaited event, I was finally lucky to win the lottery, November will start my third full marathon.
In my youth, running a marathon was a painful and happy memory.
The first breakthrough of ten kilometers
Before 2016, running a marathon was almost isolated from me. That spring, accompanied by classmates to participate in the Chengdu Double Relics Marathon, tens of thousands of people ran at the foot of Qingcheng Mountain, and for the first time, they saw such a vibrant race, and their hearts were greatly touched. After that marathon, I started my daily running exercises.
I was tired from running 3 km at the beginning, and it took almost two months, from 3 km, 5 km to 10 km, I was able to run down. Although the pace is not fast, it is very rewarding.
Then there was my first marathon. In May 2016, a running event in Chongqing, I reported for a 10-kilometer race, 1 hour and 5 minutes to finish, after that run, it seems to be a bit into the pit of the marathon. That month, I ran the ten kilometers of the Chengdu Qionglai Marathon, and I remember that it rained that day, but it still did not affect my own completion.
The first half horse 21 km
After two ten kilometers, my heart slowly gained confidence. In June 2016, I packed my bags alone and went to Lijiang, Yunnan Province, to participate in the Yulong Snow Mountain Plateau Marathon, which ran half a horse and 21 kilometers, and finished in 2 and a half hours.
In the process of running, I run according to my usual rhythm, I can clearly hear my breathing and heartbeat, many simple villagers on both sides of the street are cheering and shouting, and there is a charming snowy mountain scenery, which seems to make people forget the fatigue and high reflex of the body.
After running, I also went to Shuhe Ancient Town for a walk. Before lijiang airport was ready to leave, under the clear blue sky, holding this special medal in my hand, my memories with Lijiang in Yunnan Province were even thicker.
The first time the whole horse is 42 km
After returning from Lijiang, I completely fell in love with running marathons. In the second half of 2016, I ran a lot of half horses with my friends who like to run, the World Liangdu Liupanshui Marathon, chengdu Shuangliu women's marathon, Chengdu Wenjiang marathon, Yunnan Shuifu marathon... The marathon trip after marathon filled my life with sunshine.
In October, I saw a report on the Chiang Mai Marathon in Thailand in previous years, an 80-year-old American grandmother ran a full marathon, and the organizing committee waited for her to reach the finish line, which made me very moved. Because the Chiang Mai Marathon does not have a closing time, it is especially suitable for first-time marathon runners. So, I set myself a small goal, on that year's birthday, to run a full horse.
Southeast Asia is a tropical climate, so the Chiang Mai Marathon started at 4 a.m., the first half of the run felt relatively smooth, when it was almost 30 kilometers, the legs and feet began to have a little pain, and then all the way to the combination of running and walking, 7 hours to complete the 42 kilometers.
Only then did I understand that the real marathon started at 30 kilometers. It was also at that time that I understood that it was really not easy to keep running. In February of the following year, I went to Hong Kong to participate in all malaysia, because the requirements of the race were particularly strict, and there was a time limit for each stage, and I was unable to run to the finish line.
Running a marathon should be healthy and happy, as long as in the process, you get what you have, it is worth it.
Life's marathon
After experiencing the full horse twice, there were also two half marathons afterwards. The running time of the past two years has changed me a lot, and the running thing has made me more determined and courageous, and in the face of many difficulties, it seems that I am not so afraid.
I don't know if I was tired of running, or I was confused, but after a long time, I entered the so-called "tired of running period", and my body also entered a not very good state, and I did not know what the meaning of running was for me. I think that on the road to invincibility, we should also learn to stop, look, and think.
In the past two years, because of the relationship between graduate school and graduate school, there is less planning to go out and run Lasong. This year, because of the less academic pressure, running marathons has returned to my life. In April and May, I participated in the Chengdu Shuangwei Marathon and wenchuan Marathon with my friends, and returned to the venue where I first met the marathon, and my heart was full of emotions.
Many people say that running is a boring exercise, that is, put your left foot in front of your right foot, and then put your right foot in front of your left foot, repeat it about 56,000 times, and you can run the next marathon. In my opinion, whether running is boring or not depends on whether you use your heart to experience the fun. In fact, our life is also like a marathon, full of laughter, pain and hope, as long as you do not give up, you will definitely reach the end.
