Recently, the rainfall in the county has increased, the humidity in the field is large, the potato 28 star ladybird has entered the peak period of general harm, and the late blight is about to enter the stage of field pathogenesis, which is a critical period for the prevention and control of major potato diseases and insect pests.
In order to control the occurrence of major potato diseases and insect pests as soon as possible and ensure a bumper harvest of autumn grain crops, the Zhuanglang County Agricultural Technology Center adheres to the basic principle of "prevention first, comprehensive prevention and control", formulates a plan for the prevention and control of major potato diseases and insect pests as soon as possible, and on the basis of the investigation of the eight potato grass-roots monitoring points in the county, through the early warning system combined with the field census, comprehensively predicts early warning, and scientifically guides the prevention and control of major diseases and insect pests such as potato late blight and twenty-eight star ladybirds.
In accordance with the prevention and control strategy of "early detection, early warning, early prevention and control", early action, rapid action, in early June, the key townships and regions of potato planting were issued in a timely manner to the key townships and regions of enoylmorpholine prevention and control pesticides, in accordance with the expansion trend of major potato diseases and insects in various townships. Since the end of June, the government has comprehensively organized the purchase of disease and pest control services, and the plant protection station has actively dispatched three multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to carry out professional unified prevention and control services in key areas such as potato planting demonstration sites and seed potato bases such as Yuebao, Nanhu, Liuliang, Tonghua, yongning, and more than 100 acres of concentrated areas such as planting cooperatives and large planters, guiding professional teams at all levels to actively participate in the prevention and control of late epidemic diseases, and giving full play to the demonstration and leading role.
During the period of major pest control and prevention, the Agricultural Technology Center dispatched nearly 100 professional and technical personnel to carry out technical service guidance in various townships (towns), villages and fields throughout the process, publicizing and explaining to the masses the occurrence of potato late blight, early blight, twenty-eight star ladybirds, aphids and other diseases and insect pests and their prevention and control methods, as well as practical technologies such as symptomatic drug selection, correct dispensing, appropriate use of drugs, and safe use of drugs, distributing more than 20,000 copies of prevention and control technology publicity materials, and guiding the orderly development of prevention and control work in various places. Strive to contain major potato pests and diseases at the initial stage.
At present, Zhuanglang County has completed the purchase of 8550 mu of unified prevention and control services for major potato diseases and insect pests, with an average prevention and control effect of more than 85%. Through early prevention and early control, we have strictly prevented potato late blight and the outbreak of 28-star ladybirds, laying a solid foundation for this year's potato harvest. The second batch of late epidemic prevention and control materials is being actively procured.
