Although the hospital experts made every effort to rescue her, Xiao Yu'er's condition deteriorated further, and on October 26, Xiao Yu'er was judged to be in a state of brain death. Sadly, Xiaoyu's family learned from the medical staff about China's human organ donation policy, relevant knowledge and donation process, which made a difficult and great decision for parents: sign an organ donation consent form! It has been heard that brain-dead patients can donate organs, which can revive at least 4 families.
Organ transport.
It is understood that according to the "Chinese organ distribution and sharing system" distribution, Xiaoyu's liver and kidney have been distributed to three children waiting for transplantation in three provinces and cities, through the autonomous region health commission coordination airport and civil aviation relevant departments, under the full protection of more than 20 staff of Hedong Airport, the organs were transported to the relevant provinces and cities in the shortest possible time, and the transplantation surgery was successfully carried out by local medical staff, saving three young lives. Corneal transplantation was performed by the Eye Hospital of the Autonomous Region People's Hospital for two patients, allowing the patients to see the light again.
