If you insist that your child's education depends mainly on schools and teachers, and the role of parents in it is very limited, please take a look at the following story.

Emperor Fumian (215-282), courtesy name Jing (静), courtesy name Shi'an (士安), called himself Mr. Xuanman ,[ Note 1] of the Anding Dynasty during the Wei and Jin dynasties, and later moved to Xin'an with his adoptive parents. His great-grandfather Huang Fusong (?-195) was a famous general of the Eastern Han Dynasty, who made military achievements in suppressing the Yellow Turban Rebellion, and was promoted to the rank of general of the Che Rider and a lieutenant. He was passed on to his uncle by his parents at an early age. Lady Ren in this story is both The Adoptive Mother of Emperor Fumi and his uncle.

□ before he was twenty years old, people called him a "fool"

According to the history books, Emperor Fumian was "twenty years old, not easy to learn, wandering, or delusional." In his self-written "Xuan Yan Chunqiu", a more specific and vivid description was made: "When I grew to seven feet and four inches tall, I still did not understand the history of the scriptures, and together with my cousin's son Liang Liu and others, I made thorns into shields, held staffs as ge, and stabbed each other in formations. "Come to think of it, a twenty-year-old offspring is still playing this kind of child's game, and it is no wonder that his neighbors think that there is something wrong with his brain."

The mother mentioned by Emperor Fumi in his autobiography was his adoptive mother and uncle Ren. How did Mrs. Ren educate this stubborn adopted son? There is a complete record in the history books.

One day, Emperor Fumian stole someone else's melon fruit. He was still quite filial, and he was reluctant to eat it, so he took it home to his adoptive mother. He wouldn't have thought about it, seeing that he was so incompetent, where would his adoptive mother still be in the mood to receive this "filial piety" from him? Sure enough, Lady Ren said to him, "The Book of Filial Piety says: 'The cultivation of the three animals is like filial piety.' You're in your twenties this year, and you still don't have a teaching, and you don't have a heart, and it really makes me feel bad. In the past, Meng Mother's three migrations achieved Yasheng, and my great-father cooked and educated his son, is it not that I do not choose my neighbors, and there is a gap in teaching, which makes you so blunt? But self-cultivation and learning, the benefit is yourself, not my business! As she spoke, she couldn't help but shed tears.

This Lady Ren must have been a well-read and courteous woman. Because in the middle of her words of educating her adopted son, she not only quoted the sentences in the "Filial Piety Classic", but also quoted two historical allusions.

"The cultivation of the three animals is like filial piety": It means that even if you give your parents cattle, sheep and pork every day, you may not be filial piety. "Mengmu Three Moves": It is said that Mencius's mother has moved three times in order to provide a better learning environment for her son.

"Great-father cooking": It is said that Zengsan's wife once took her son to the market, and the child was hungry and crying, so she coaxed him to go home and kill a pig for you to eat. When Zeng San learned of this, he threatened to kill the pig. The wife said she was just coaxing her son. Zeng Shan believed that the mother could not lose faith in her son and insisted on killing a pig.

The process of human growth is sometimes very peculiar, and there are often several "joint points" in existence. This time, Huang Fumi deeply felt his adoptive mother's worries and care for himself, and had a feeling of opening up. From then on, he sentenced the two of them, took the initiative to seek study from the villagers, and began to study the Confucian classics and the Hundred Sayings. At that time, his family was very poor, and he was engaged in farming while insisting on studying and being diligent.

After □ twenty years old, he became a "book prostitute"

Once life has a goal, the spiritual world becomes quiet and persistent. That's the case with Emperor Fumi. He was pure in heart and made up his mind, and in this life he had to write, and for this reason he gave himself the nickname of "Mr. Xuanyan".

Huang Fumian's time to specialize in medicine is actually relatively late, and it can even be said that he had to do it as a last resort. In his forties, he suffered from wind paralysis and was half-hearted, so he devoted himself to medical research. Although he is disabled, he is strong in learning.

When he was successful in his studies, some people advised him not to blindly bury his head in reading, but to cultivate his name and make friends and enter his career. However, he believed that "in the middle of the field, you can also enjoy the way of Yao and Shun", and wrote the "Theory of Xuan Shou" to mingzhi. As his reputation grew, the county and the country took the initiative to recommend and conquer, but he was not moved, and only cared about reading and writing. So people gave him a nickname of "bookishness".

Entering the Jin Dynasty, Sima Yan, the emperor of the Jin Dynasty, learned that there was such a talent, so he frequently issued edicts and conscriptions. Emperor Fumian took the name of "Grass Mangchen" and resigned from the illness.

A year later, the county and the country recommended emperor Fu In the name of virtuous and virtuous. This time, he changed his method and borrowed books from Emperor Wu of Jin. A commoner actually opened his mouth to borrow books from the emperor, which was a groundbreaking thing. Emperor Wu of Jin fulfilled this very special request and specially sent someone to send a cart of books to Emperor Fumian.

In the early years of Xianning (275), Emperor Wu of Jin once again issued an edict to recruit Emperor Fumi, and this time he came involuntarily, first arranging the position of crown prince for Emperor Fumian. However, Emperor Fumian still resigned on the grounds that his illness had worsened. Seeing that he really had no intention of becoming a soldier, he later changed his name to Zheng Lang (征郎) and supplemented him as a writer. According to some scholars, Emperor Fumian resigned from the imperial court's conscription seven times in his lifetime.

In the third year of Taikang (282), Emperor Fumi, who had never been an official, died at the age of sixty-eight.

At the end of the story, we will briefly introduce The Outstanding Achievements of Emperor Fumi in Medicine.

"Acupuncture A and B Classic" (full name "Yellow Emperor Three Acupuncture A and B Classic", or "Yellow Emperor Acupuncture A and B Classic", can also be referred to as "Jia Yi Jing"), is a medical work written by Emperor Fu Mi with his life's efforts. It is the earliest preserved acupuncture work in China, which has had a major impact on the development of Chinese medicine acupuncture and is regarded as the ancestor of Chinese medicine acupuncture.

The content of this work is not limited to acupuncture, but also summarizes the basic theories of Chinese medicine. The book summarizes the experience of the previous generation of acupuncture treatment, especially the acupuncture acupuncture points for each disease, as well as the scope of the main diseases treated by each "Yu acupuncture point", which are summarized in detail and methodically. The so-called "Yu Acupoint", also known as "Acupoint", "Acupuncture Point" or "Meridian Acupoint". The total number of sutra points recorded in the book reaches 654.

The influence of Emperor Fumian and his writings has long been beyond the scope of China. In 701, the Great Treasure Law Decree promulgated by Japan at that time clearly stipulated that the Acupuncture and Moxibustion A and B Sutra should be made a compulsory subject for studying medicine and acupuncture. In 1136, the then Goryeo kingdom made similar regulations.

In addition to the Acupuncture and Moxibustion Jia Yi Jing, Huang Fumian's medical works also had a volume of the famous "Treatise on The Cold Stone" at that time, but unfortunately it could not be passed down (some of the contents of the later book "The Source of Chao's Disease" were preserved). In addition, he is also the author of "Imperial Century", "Gao Shi Biography", "Yi Shi Biography", "Lienu Biography", "Xuan Yan Chunqiu" and other historical works.

Huang Fumi is undoubtedly a medical genius, but genius also needs to be developed. His adoptive mother and uncle, Mrs. Ren, are undoubtedly the "whetstones" of this genius. This story tells people that emphasizing that parents are the first teachers of a child is not just talking.

exegesis

1. Anding Chaona County: One is said to be in present-day Guyuan City, Ningxia, and the other is said to be in the northwest of present-day Pingliang City, Gansu, which is controversial.

2, Xin'an County: Xin'an County has more than a dozen dynasties, the construction is complex and changeable, spanning the north and south of the Yangtze River. Some scholars believe that Xin'an County here is now Chun'an County, Zhejiang, and the land span is too large, which should be wrong. The area of Xin'an County, where Emperor Fumian lived, should be in the area of present-day Yima and Xin'an in Henan.

3. Because there are different understandings of the "uncle after the birth" and "the uncle of the empress dowager" and "the uncle of the empress dowager" contained in the "Biography of the Emperor Fu of Jin", there are currently three theories about the identity of Lady Ren, namely stepmother, uncle and mother.
