Reporter: In the face of major natural disasters that have occurred inside and outside the province since the first half of the year, what kind of disaster relief work has the Provincial Red Cross Society mainly carried out?
Sun Lin: Disaster relief work is one of the main tasks of the Red Cross Society, since the "5.22" earthquake in Maduo County and the extreme heavy rainfall in Henan Province this year, we have paid close attention to the changes in the disaster situation, mobilized social forces, actively donated money and materials, and sent rescue teams to the frontline of the disaster area to support the disaster relief work.
After the "5.22" Maduo County earthquake, the party group of the Provincial Red Cross Society deployed earthquake relief work in a timely manner and quickly launched a level II emergency response to major earthquake disasters. At 2:40 a.m. on May 22, the preliminary situation of the earthquake was reported to the Red Cross Society of China. At 4:00 a.m., the Red Cross search and rescue team and the Red Cross Society of China (Qinghai) relief and rescue team were assembled to quickly put into earthquake relief work. At 15:00, four trucks loaded with tents, cotton clothes, quilts and other urgently needed materials for disaster relief of 1.08 million yuan arrived at the scene of the disaster area. During the earthquake relief period, the Provincial Red Cross Society allocated nine batches of relief materials worth 5.71 million yuan to the Maduo earthquake-stricken areas. Two groups of earthquake relief teams have been successively dispatched to the frontline of the disaster area, set up a Red Cross earthquake relief command, set up a temporary party branch, and carried out material distribution, disaster investigation, emergency rescue training, etc., which have been highly affirmed and praised by the party committees and governments at all levels and the people in the disaster areas in Goluo Prefecture.

Sun Lin: In terms of "The Red Cross Helps the Ecology", the Provincial Red Cross Society, relying on the Yushu People's Livelihood Project, raised more than 8.8 million yuan of funds to set up the "Small Garbage, Big People's Livelihood - Clean Sanjiangyuan" ecological public welfare fund by accepting donations from society and enterprises, and promoted the Yushu People's Livelihood Fund, the provincial support for agriculture and poverty alleviation "Hundred Townships and Thousand Villages" demonstration project funds, local supporting funds and the Funds of the Red Cross Foundation of China totaling more than 44.72 million yuan, in 104 townships, villages, 12 monasteries in 21 counties and cities in 6 cities and prefectures in the province. A total of 118 small waste incinerators were installed in the two nature reserves.
Communicate and coordinate with the Provincial Rural Revitalization Bureau to incorporate the "Small Garbage, Big People's Livelihood - Clean Sanjiangyuan" small-scale waste incinerator ecological public welfare project into the "812" demonstration project for rural revitalization in the province, and further expand the coverage of the project.

Actively promote the "three dedications" work. The cumulative storage capacity of hematopoietic stem cell donation reached 24,300 copies, and 47 cases of volunteers successfully donated. The Provincial Women and Children's Hospital was listed as a "designated hospital for hematopoietic stem cell collection", and 3 cases were successfully collected in the province, filling the gap of non-related donation of hematopoietic stem cells in Qinghai. Opened a green channel for the transfer of human hematopoietic stem cells and human organ donation at the airport; arranged 540,000 yuan of funds to equip the provincial blood center with blood sample collection vehicles, purchased 8 medical refrigerators for 8 blood donation houses in Xining City, and worked together to promote unpaid blood donation and hematopoietic stem cell collection; human organ donation has accumulated 8,850 registered donation volunteers, successfully donated 4 cases, donated 11 large organs, and 2 corneas. Covering an area of 7.93 hectares and with an investment of 68.8 million yuan, the Qinghai Provincial Red Cross Human Organ Donation Fraternity Memorial Park project was officially started and promoted in an orderly manner.
