In 1966, after returning to Hong Kong from Singapore, Zhou Muyun (Liang Chaowei), who wanted to forget the past, stayed in Room 2047 of the Oriental Hotel, which was only one away from the number 2046 he was once familiar with, and began his career as a writer.
