On October 27, China Railway and China Nonferrous Metals Mining Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Nonferrous Metals") signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. Chen Yun, secretary of the party committee and chairman of China Railway, Chen Wenjian, president and deputy secretary of the party committee; Xi Zhengping, secretary of the party committee and chairman of the board of directors of China Nonferrous Metals; and Dong Changqing, general manager and deputy secretary of the party committee, attended the signing ceremony and conducted friendly consultations on relevant cooperation matters. Ren Hongpeng, member of the Standing Committee and Vice President of the Party Committee of China Railway, and Chang Qing, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Nonferrous Metals, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.
The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between China Railway and China Nonferrous Metals is not only a fruitful result of deepening cooperation between the two sides for a long time, but also the beginning of the two sides to face the new situation and achieve new goals, which will have a far-reaching impact on each other's future development. According to the agreement, the two sides will take this signing as an opportunity to further consolidate the foundation of cooperation, enhance the level of cooperation, expand the field of cooperation, work together to implement the national "14th Five-Year Plan" development plan, focus on the industrial fields of common concern, give full play to the advantages of their respective industrial chains, explore multi-level and all-round cooperation in planning, survey, design, construction (EPC), deep processing, smelting collaboration, equipment research and development and manufacturing, infrastructure investment and construction, and jointly create a new model of cooperation in the whole industry chain and jointly create a new model of market development. Jointly build a commodity trade and supply chain guarantee system, jointly establish a normalized exchange and learning mechanism, and ultimately achieve complementary advantages, common development, equal cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win results, and continuously promote high-quality development of enterprises and industry progress.
