May 22 (China News Online) -- Lei Jingtian is one of the founders of the CPC's rule of law construction and a pioneer in legal education. The "Huang Kegong case" he judged has become a classic case.

The reporter learned on the 22nd that the original large-scale drama "Lei Jingtian", created by East China University of Political Science and Law and the Shanghai Theater Academy, was successfully premiered at the Shanghai Majestic Theater on the evening of the 21st. The play tells the story of the Chinese Communists and ordinary people making a new contract: a contract of equality for all, changing the people's perceptions and perceptions.

Lei Jingtian, formerly known as Rong Pu (荣璞), was the president of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region High Court, vice chairman of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and president of the Central and Southern Branch of the Supreme People's Court. In October 1937, a case of Huang Kegong shooting and killing a young woman for forced marriage occurred in Yan'an. Huang Kegong was reduced from a revolutionary hero to a murderer. After careful discussion, the CPC Central Committee and the Central Military Commission decided to put Huang Kegong to death. This incident is known as the "Huang Kegong Incident".

Taking Lei Jingtian's experience in judging the "Huang Kegong Case" as the main plot clue, the drama traces and analyzes this history through the modern perspective in Huazheng's "History of China's Legal System" classroom, showing an important history of legal system construction of the Chinese Communists in the period of the new democratic revolution, showing the revolutionary rule of law tradition with "people as the center" and the red rule of law spirit of "strict discipline in law". Let the audience truly feel the original intention of the Chinese Communist Party of China for the rule of law.

Guo Weilu, Secretary of the Party Committee of East China University of Political Science and Law, participated in the creation and rehearsal of "Lei Jingtian". In an interview, he said the whole process was an educational and baptizing process for him. Lei Jing god's trial of huang Kegong's case has set a good legal example, and we must inherit and carry forward the original intention of the communists in the rule of law and the fine tradition of the rule of law. Revisiting the spirit of the rule of law during the Yan'an period, he pointed out that the rule of law practice of the Chinese Communists is rooted in the land of China. The Yan'an period developed a unique tradition of rule of law, which grew out of China's own land.

Guo Weilu said that the original intention of the Chinese Communists in the rule of law is people-centered, and their value position is "putting the ass on the side of the people and sitting on the right side." At the same time, the judicial practice of the Yan'an period insisted on promoting "democratization and massization" and emphasized "not leaving the masses for a moment", which greatly played the educational function of the rule of law.

He believes that "Lei Jingtian" expresses the firm determination to strictly administer the party, stressing that party members "cannot fail to implement stricter discipline" and "Communist Party members who break the law should be punished severely."

It is understood that "Lei Jingtian" is under the guidance of a number of experts in the field of legal history and drama, and nearly 100 teachers and students of East China University of Political Science and Law have participated. The stage perfectly reproduced the scenery of the Loess Plateau in Yan'an and the old appearance of the court of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Higher Border District, and vividly shaped the three groups of group portraits of Huazheng teachers and students, Lei Jingtian, revolutionary youth, and Yan'an people. Today's dialogue between teachers and students and Lei Jingtian through time and space leads the audience to look back at the glorious history and write the spiritual core of the legal history of the People's Republic of China, which is rich in texture, admirable and thought-provoking.

"The drama "Lei Jingtian" has created the image of a flesh-and-blood Communist Party judge. He was entangled in the law of reason, the love between comrades-in-arms, the reason of the common people, and the uncertain law, forcing him to be cornered. The faith in his heart, the people in his heart, let him find the Fa in the dirt. It was a tough decision, it was a great verdict. This is the background of our Communists, and it still seems to shine brightly and shock the soul today. Li Zeli, director of the Publicity Department of the Shanghai Higher People's Court who watched the premiere, said in an interview on the 22nd.

In the performance, Lei Jingtian's calm and wisdom, the cheerful conceit of the anti-Japanese hero Huang Kegong, and Liu Qian's lively frankness were vividly interpreted by the actors, vividly, and won a round of applause.

The main responsible persons and staff of the Shanghai Municipal Law System, the Education System, the relevant Municipal Party Committee Offices, the Scientific Research and Higher Education Units, and the All-China Lawyers Association watched the premiere. They relived Lei Jingtian's revolutionary course and historical contributions, sought experience from history, sought laws, explored the future, and drew on the political nutrition and rule of law ideas.

East China University of Political Science and Law revealed on the 22nd that "Lei Jingtian" was jointly created by a group of outstanding young choreographers such as producer Shi Chunxuanzi, screenwriter Liu Si and director Wang Qizheng, and joined hands with Stage Art Design Hu Zuo, Costume Styling Chief Designer Xu Jiahua and other Chinese first-line theater artists. Lei Jingtian and other predecessors went deep into the "field" to skillfully resolve contradictions and disputes for ordinary farmers, artistically resolve family disputes, and make the educational function of the law full of humanistic care. The actors' performances made the audience think deeply.

"All the characters are alive! In extremely emotional conversations and performances, I think more about the 'law' itself than I would say in the classroom. Legal people 'go deep into the field' so that we will not lose our conscience to defend the law. College student Yang Chunlei was very emotional in an interview.

"Spring water has been surging at the bottom of the frozen river. For the first time, put the people on the scales of justice. The most difficult decision ever made is also the pure original intention. The moment fairness is handed over to the people, the future will have a landscape. In the premiere, the original theme song "Balance" reverberated in the theater, the lyrics were profound and pure, the melody was deep and beautiful, and the simple original intention of legal people to devote themselves to the construction of the rule of law was artistically presented, expressing the sincere feelings of communists who are people-centered and pursuing fairness and justice, and paying tribute to all legal people who are fighting on the road of rule of law construction.

On the 22nd, East China University of Political Science and Law held a seminar on "People's Judicial Theory" and "From Yan'an to Shanghai, from the Pulpit to the Stage" drama "Lei Jingtian", where well-known experts from academia and literary and art critics conducted in-depth discussions on the development process of the people's judicial system and the creation of legal literary and artistic works, extending and deepening the connotation of "Lei Jingtian" and the Yan'an spirit it contains.
