Place 8 or more hula hoops on the ground. These hula hoops can be one next to the other or 1 foot apart. Concentrate the students densely at one end of these hula hoops and connect the ankles of the participants with large rubber bands. When one team member moves, the other cadets must follow suit.

Goku's team building coach pointed out that the key to this activity is communication, including verbal and non-verbal communication. When team participants are ready to move, they need to tell each other or some will lose their balance. It is also extremely important to achieve consistency in the direction of movement. If the team participants tried to move in different directions, it was almost impossible to make progress. There are too many similar situations in the usual work that provide fodder for the team to have meaningful discussions.
