On the morning of April 30, Lin'an pecan digital brain monitored that the female flower of pecan reached the best pollination window, combined with the meteorological forecast data of the day, Hangzhou Yungu Digital Wisdom Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. carried out drone-assisted pecan pollination operation for the first time in the Hsin hickory ecological operation demonstration base in Xinfeng Village, Qingliangfeng Town, Lin'an District.
In order to ensure the pollination effect of the UAV, the Yungu Digital Intelligence team chose the Polar Mountain Version UAV with the function of "imitation terrain autonomous flight and mist spraying", and completed the pollination operation of nearly 200 acres of hickory forest in only half a day.
A hickory research team led by Yao Xiaohua, a researcher at the Institute of Subtropical Forestry of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, provided technical support for the pollination of hickory. According to the relevant experts of the team, the UAV assisted pollination selected pecans as the father, taking advantage of its thin shell, thick kernel, high yield and other characteristics, through cross-pollination, it is expected to promote local pecans to increase fruit shape, improve quality and increase yield.
The "cloud platform digital empowerment + drone technology empowerment" pecan pollination operation is only an application scenario for the digital upgrading of the pecan industry in Lin'an.
