On October 14, walking into the community factory of the Walnut Market in Yongfeng Town, Luonan County, Shangluo City, workers were busy peeling walnuts in front of the workstation.

"I used to work outside the home, and my income was very unstable. Now working in the community factory in front of his home, he can earn more than 1,000 yuan a month, and he can take care of the elderly and children when he goes home at night. Feng Fang, a mass member of the West Community of Yongfeng Town, said.

It is understood that the walnut market provides jobs for the surrounding labor force, allowing more than 1,200 relocated people to achieve local employment. At present, there are 41 walnut professional cooperatives in the market, which mainly process walnuts in Shangluo, Yunnan, Gansu, Xinjiang and other places for primary processing, and then sell them to Beijing, Xiamen, Hangzhou and other places.

"In the next step, we plan to continue to expand the market, accelerate the construction of walnut science and technology innovation park, provide more jobs for the labor force around Luonan County, and strive to create a leading walnut professional trading market in Luonan County." Guo Anzhu, director of the Walnut Research Institute in Luonan County, said.
