In the TV series "Know It or Not", in the finale, Gu Sanlang called out that his second brother would let him attack the knight tomorrow. It may seem reasonable, but it doesn't fit the facts.
Aren't titles for inheritance? Why is it wrong to say that the raider is wrong? This has to start from the characteristics of the title of the Song Dynasty.

First, it turned out that only those with the surname Zhao were worthy of hereditary inheritance
The Song Dynasty had a total of twelve grades, namely Kings, Heirs, Counties, Dukes, Counties, Founding Princes, Founding Counties, Founding County Dukes, Founding County Dukes, Founding Marquises, Founding Fathers, Founding Sons, and Founding Men.
It looks complicated, so it has to be said separately.
Let's talk about the first few, these are used to crown the emperor.
Generally speaking, princes and brothers are called princes, such as the Eight Sages King in "Bao Qingtian", who is the son of Song Taizu, so he is a prince.
The son of the prince is the heir king, the close relatives of the clan inherit, the special will is the king of the county, and the successor of the ancestor of the yu en and the clan and the special will are crowned as the duke. The rest of the more distant clans, close relatives, and county dukes.
However, the sons of early princes generally rarely became kings, usually the oldest ones were crowned dukes, and the rest of the heirs were only enlisted in the imperial family and entered the dynasty as officials.
As a result, because Emperor Zhenzong of Song and Emperor Renzong of Song had fewer or no children, this problem led to the basic absence of kings in the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty.
Fearing that the prince will seize power is a problem, but no one in the royal family is a big problem. Therefore, in the fourth year of the Qing calendar (1044), Emperor Renzong of Song ordered a bunch of dukes to be sealed in one go, and a total of 6 county kings, 3 dukes, and 1 county duke were sealed.
As can be seen above, the titles of these clans cannot be passed on to the next generation, except for the heir king. And the king did not say that he was sealed.
For example, Emperor Shenzong of Song felt that his father Song Yingzong was a successor to Emperor Renzong, because Emperor Shenzong of Song's own grandfather Zhao Yunrang was posthumously honored as the King of Pu, so he made his uncle Zhao Zonghui the Prince of Pu, thus inheriting it. So the Northern Song Dynasty was the one who was the heir king.
In the Southern Song Dynasty, Song Xiaozong and Song Lizong belonged to the succession. Naturally, the titles of King Sixiu and King Sirong were established successively, plus the later King of Siyi, a total of three. Therefore, in the entire Song Dynasty, there were only four hereditary heirs.
See, except for those with the surname Zhao, the others are really not eligible for hereditary titles.
Or Mr. Lu Xun's words are right: you also deserve the surname Zhao!
Is the Duke's rent collected from house to house? The lords are exhausted like this
Dukes and Dukes look like them, but they are not called by different titles. Generally, when you come to the feudal state, you are called a certain country duke. The dukes, hou, uncles, sons, and men all took the county to open the country, first only sealing small countries, and then changing to large countries. Therefore, we can often see some so-called founding princes and the like. But these are different from the ancient ones.
Although those founding dukes, hou, uncles, sons, and men all have food, in theory, more than 2,000 households are sealed, more than 1,000 households are sealed, more than 700 households are sealed, more than 500 households are sealed, and more than 300 households are sealed. The current and former prime ministers have a total of 10,000 households.
But the nominal and the actual are not the same.
For example, during the Song Dynasty, the official Li Zhongshi had 1200 households, but there were 200 households. In general, the nominal and actual ratio can be good. Moreover, the titles and the number of households sealed by The Food Yi and the Food Shi were recorded in the fifth year of The Xining Dynasty (1072), which was also a special case before the reform of the Shenzong System.
After the reform of Emperor Shenzong to the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, the conferral of titles and food and food seals was generally more reasonable, but there were still special cases of not being granted according to the canon, Wang Cun's food was 1400 households, less than 1500 households, the medal was a shang protector, and did not reach the shangzhu state, and should not be granted 100 households.
Some of the food is only nominal, not really sealed at all. Therefore, in most cases, the food is a kind of embellishment that shows glory, because many people who have titles do not have real titles, so the titles are not material.
What about the real sealed ones? Generally speaking, officials who have food and food are sealed according to the actual sealing of one household, and the monthly payment is calculated by 25 yuan, and they receive it from the government office like the monthly salary, rather than going door to door to collect it themselves.
Third, the ministers will not be hereditary even if they are crowned kings
As mentioned above, it is difficult for the sons of the clan to achieve hereditary titles, let alone those with different surnames. Therefore, these knighthoods of Song Dynasty officials, as well as food and food seals, etc., unless they are extremely special, cannot be hereditary. Naturally, there is no such thing as a knight.
Because of the characteristics of the literati politics of the Song Dynasty, many civilian officials who achieved a certain rank would be awarded knighthoods. Therefore, the title of Song Dynasty also has a corresponding grade. To confer on officials, here's a general introduction. Because the official system of the Song Dynasty is particularly complicated, it is not a simple comparison
For example, Wang Zheng Yipin, Si Wang, Junwang, And Guogong from Yipin, Jungong and Kaiguo County Justice Erpin, Kaiguo County Gong from Erpin, Kaiguo Hou from Sanpin, Kaiguo Bozheng Four Pin, Kaiguo Zi Zheng Wupin, And Kaiguo Male from Wupin. The heirs, counties, and founding princes were not sealed, and the ninth rank was retained.
The Song Dynasty also had the example of Zai Zhi feng wang, of course, that was only a posthumous title. Nor can children and grandchildren be hereditary.
Regarding the arrangement of titles and official titles of the Song Dynasty, we can look at the text on The Di Qing Monument:
Song Gu Tuicheng, Baode, Shouzheng, Yi Dai Gongchen, Protector of the National Army, Guan Nei Observation and Disposal, Special Inspection School Lieutenant, Tong Zhongshu Menxia Pingzhangshi, Xinghe Zhongyin, Sentence Chen Prefecture Junzhou Affairs and Manage nei DiYan Bridge Road Persuasion Agricultural Envoys, Shangzhu Guo, Tianshui County Founding Duke, 7,700 households of Food Seal 2,100 households.
The first thing written here is Di Qing's various official titles, including the post of dispatch. Finally, write the knighthood and title. This mentions food and solid sealing, which is equivalent to an embellishment.
Although the official positions of the Song Dynasty are not hereditary, the cultural foundation of being able to do so will not be bad, and the Song Dynasty also has Enyin, that is, to seal or promote the children of some high-ranking officials, which also makes up for the regret that the titles cannot be hereditary.
