In an official reminder issued by the Raohe County Forestry and Grassland Bureau, it was said that on the morning of August 10, the Forestry and Grassland Bureau found footprints of Siberian tigers along the Ussuri River in Jiangcun, Datonghe Township, and according to the footprints, it was determined that the Siberian tigers entered China from Russia. The key danger areas are Zhenjiang Village, Jiangkou Village, Wulindong Town, Xiangyang Village, Yongxing Village and the surrounding (forest area) areas. Siberian tigers are very mobile, please do not enter the mountains to collect operations. Farmers should take safety precautions. Avoid encounters between humans and Siberian tigers and prevent harm to people and domestic animals.
Mr. Gao, a villager in Jiangcun Village, Datonghe Township, told Jimu News that the most talked about in the circle of friends and various groups of villagers in the past two days is that tiger footprints have appeared again along the Ussuri River. However, Mr. Gao said that he only saw pictures and reminders released by local media, and did not go to the scene to see the footprints.
Mr. Wang, the person in charge of the Jiangcun Village Committee of Datonghe Township, told jimu news reporters that there is indeed such a matter, and the place where the tiger footprints were found belongs to the scope of the Tonghe Forest Farm in Raohe County, and the village committee has reminded the residents who go up the mountain to collect medicine and pick up mountain goods not to go up the mountain at will recently and pay attention to safety at any time.
Mr. Qin, the person in charge of the Tonghe Forest Farm in Raohe County, also told Jimu News that on the morning of August 10, a grower in the forest farm found suspected tiger footprints about 600 meters away from the Tunzi where the residents lived, and then reported it. Mr. Qin said that after professional and technical personnel checked, it was confirmed that it was a tiger footprint, but at present, the tiger figure has not been seen, and many wild cameras installed in the forest farm have not yet captured the tiger's traces, no one has been injured or the crops have been destroyed, and the tiger has not entered the residential area.
"We have a river forest farm bordering Russia, and across the Ussuri River is Russia. In recent years, with the increase of ecological environmental protection, tiger tracks have been found many times in the forest farm in the past 6 years, and last year, some people drove on the highway and photographed the tiger with a car recorder. Mr. Qin, the person in charge of the Tonghe Forest Farm, said that at present, the search personnel organized by the relevant local departments are still looking for tigers on the mountain.
According to the data, the Tonghe Forest Farm is located in the southwest of Raohe County, Heilongjiang Province, the forest site is in the northeast branch of Wandashan Mountain, the site is 26 kilometers away from the county seat of Raohe County, it is a border forest farm (Shiye District is 5 kilometers away from the border line), the southeast is bounded by the Ussuri River and Russia, and the administrative area belongs to Datonghe Township and Wulindong Town.
