On the 24th, Beijing Wildlife Park issued an official statement: At about 14:00 on October 23, 2021, there was an illegal intrusion incident of tourists in the White Tiger Exhibition Area of the self-driving tour area of Beijing Wildlife Park, and the intruder was not injured. During the rescue process, the intruder never obeyed the rescue password of the staff, confronted the 11 white tigers in the exhibition area, and constantly provoked the animals with words and actions. Because there are multiple safety protection facilities and equipment in the exhibition area, one of the hidden devices plays a key protective role, so that there is no substantial contact between the intruder and the animal. After the outbreak of the emergency, beijing wildlife park quickly activated the safety emergency plan, and successively used food lures, firecrackers and other methods to drive the animals away from the exhibition area.
