A teaching from an old monk: Almsgiving, offering, please remember these three words, the merit is immeasurable! The first thing the old monk made me remember was: "The mind is far more important than money!" The second sentence that the old monk made me remember was: "Almsgiving and offerings require personal effort." The third sentence that the old monk asked me to remember was: "Make offerings, give alms, don't compare." ”

Make a good relationship, thank you for having a little "attention"! This text number "more than 1,200 words" is expected to take 4 minutes to read! All the merits of this article are returned to all sentient beings in the Ten Fa-Realms!

"Generosity is an act of kindness, and offering is a duty," and like many buddhist disciples who practice good deeds, they perform almsgiving and offerings every time they go to a monastery. And just two days ago, when I went to the monastery to meet the old monk, I encountered such a thing, what happened?

A teaching from an old monk: Almsgiving, offering, please remember these three words, the merit is immeasurable! The first thing the old monk made me remember was: "The mind is far more important than money!" The second sentence that the old monk made me remember was: "Almsgiving and offerings require personal effort." The third sentence that the old monk asked me to remember was: "Make offerings, give alms, don't compare." ”

It is to see two people next to the merit box, pushing and pulling, one said I came; the other said he came, which can be described as pushing and pushing for a while. After the Buddha's worship, go to the old monk and tell the old monk about it.

The old monk told me, "Whether it is almsgiving or offering, it is an act of kindness and a way to cultivate blessings." But this kind of pushing and pulling is actually caused by the current sentient beings, all of whom are good "face". ”

The old monk also said, "Offering and giving merit is actually very great." Whoever can do these two things will be able to eliminate disasters and avoid difficulties and increase blessings. And said three words to me, a thousand dings, ten thousand instructions must let me remember, and silently recite them when making offerings. ”

The second sentence that the old monk made me remember was: "Almsgiving and offerings require personal effort." The third sentence that the old monk asked me to remember was: "Make offerings, give alms, don't compare." ”

The old monk said that a person's devotion and respect for the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is far more important than how much money is given. Even if you don't give alms and make offerings in front of the Buddha, and if you do almsgiving in lay people, your mind is often more important than money. Just as in the Buddhist scriptures, "All idealism is created."

If there is no reverence or piety toward the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and the objects of generosity, then how can it be said that generosity is given? This can only be regarded as a good deed of goodness in heart and perseverance. It is like seeing a beggar in life, although he gives alms, he does not give a good face to others, and he avoids others. Then this kind of generosity, not to mention the blessings, often makes others hate you, thus planting evil causes.

The old monk said that whether it is almsgiving or offering, you must know. What can be done by yourself must be done by yourself, and cannot be pushed by others. If you don't have time, or if you really can't walk away, then it is not impossible to give alms, do good deeds, and want to trust others.

But if you have the time to do it, you have to do it yourself. It's like the two people you just saw, although they both want to give alms, but they don't stop, but who can finally get the blessing? Or the one who practices offerings and almsgiving. Therefore, this sentence must be remembered and not forgotten. Giving alms, offerings, and practicing, can only be done on their own, and others can't really help much.

The old monk said that many people feel that "giving and offering" is closely related to money, and the more money there is, the greater the blessing, and the wish will inevitably be fulfilled. But do the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas care about your little bit of money? I don't care, I can't even look at it. Therefore, this sentence, you must keep in mind, can not have such superstitious ideas.

Even more, when you see others putting a hundred when you give alms or make offerings, you have to give two hundred. If you do such a thing, you are not actually giving and offering, but using a heart of comparison to consume your own blessings. The more sincere and respectful the heart, the greater the blessings and merits that can be obtained, and naturally the greater the rewards and merits that can be obtained.

The above 3 sentences are the words that the old monk qian ding, ten thousand instructions let me remember in my heart. If these three sentences can be remembered when practicing almsgiving, they can naturally not damage the blessings, but increase the merits regardless of merit. If you can't remember it and give birth to a heart of comparison and covetousness, then if you want to cultivate blessings through almsgiving and offerings, you naturally can't be so happy.

Mortals are originally dusty things, and their hearts are unwilling and enlightened.

Asking for karma can have some blessings, and Zen comes and goes without emptiness.
