Translations

The spring plate of Li Chun was filled with delicate and tender vegetables; I suddenly recalled that the scenery in Xi'an Luoyang and Liangjing was the season when the cold plums bloomed.

The two high-gate households of the two capitals put the green silk leeks in the white jade plate and fed them to each other through the hands of the slender women.

Wandering away from home, how can the Wuxia Yangtze River enter my eyes; I, a distant visitor to Duling, cannot return to my hometown because of the war, and I can't help but feel sad from it.

I don't know where to live in this life? I asked my son to find me paper to write this poem.

Appreciation

This is a Lichun poem by du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty. Li Chun, the first of the twenty-four solar terms, is also known as the First Moon Festival, the Year Festival, the Year Change, the Year Dan and so on. Standing means "beginning"; spring represents warmth and growth.

At this time, the poet, due to the chaos of the war, could not return home, and was a guest in the river. By recalling the scene spent in the spring of liangjingli, Du Fu compared the sorrow of "wandering between the southwest world and the earth" of the current guests living in other places, expressing the poet's attachment to his homeland and his longing for his hometown.

The first link, the spring plate of fine lettuce, suddenly recall the two Beijing plum hair. That is to say, the spring plate of LiChun was filled with delicate and tender vegetables; I suddenly recalled that the scenery in Xi'an Luoyang and Liangjing was the season when the cold plums bloomed. This joint explains the time of writing: Spring Day. And from the "spring plate" of Li Chun, I suddenly remembered the beautiful scene of the spring season in Chang'an and Luoyang in previous years. This creates an atmosphere for the deepening of nostalgia.

Jaw joint, plate out of the high door line white jade, dish fiber hand to send green silk. That is to say, the two high-gate households in Beijing put green silk leeks in a white jade plate and fed them to each other through the hands of slender women. This joint depicts the celebration of Lichun in the former capital, which is in sharp contrast to the depression and snub of the hometown in front of you. Pu Qilong of the Qing Dynasty commented on "Reading Du Xin Xie": Remembering the two capitals, all from the spring plate lettuce touched. Therefore, the third and fourth sentences describe the prosperity of the two capitals, only described by dishes, and do not need to be extravagant, and the taiping weather is as seen. Du Fu wrote about the Taiping weather, one is to miss, the other is to look forward to it, hoping to meet the Ming Emperor again and return to the kaiyuan prosperous world.

Neck link, Wuxia Hanjiang's pair of eyes, Duling's distant guests are overwhelmed with sorrow. That is to say, how can the Wuxia Yangtze River enter my eyes when I am exiled to another country; I, a distant visitor from Duling, cannot return to my hometown because of the chaos of war, and I can't help but feel sad from it. In this connection, the poet came out of his memory again, facing the Wuxia Gorge and the rolling Cold River in front of him, and could not help but feel sad from his heart. "Du Ling is far away from the sorrow", this sentence sets the emotional tone of the whole poem. All emotions are shrouded in this word "sadness."

Tail link, this body is unknown to the place of return, Hu'er looking for a poem on paper. Does it mean that I don't know where to live in this life? I asked my son to find me paper to write this poem. The sentence "This body is unknown and resettled" vividly shows the poet's lonely and lonely miserable situation, and forms a good correspondence with the previous sentence "invincible sorrow".

Looking through the whole poem, it is not difficult to see that Du Fu's melancholy is full of knots in Li Chunri, he is worried about the country and the people, he hopes that the motherland will return to the prosperous day, and hopes that without war, he can also return to his home. But these are like the Han River, and they are gone forever.

Fortunately, we were born in a new era, born in a peaceful era, and when the international epidemic is raging, we can spend a beautiful and warm New Year in a safe new year.

On the occasion of the arrival of the New Year, I wish you all peace and happiness and success!
