Red Star News reporter learned from the Chengdu Municipal Market Supervision Bureau on October 28 that since Chengdu launched a special law enforcement action on rural counterfeiting and shoddy in December 2020, the Chengdu Municipal Market Supervision Bureau and other five departments have effectively strengthened the governance of problems related to fake and shoddy food in rural areas, severely cracked down on illegal acts of production and operation of fake and shoddy food, and filed a total of 5187 cases, seized 107 tons of illegal food, and fined more than 39.57 million yuan, of which 7 cases with a value of more than 500,000 yuan were transferred to the public security organs.

A few days ago, the Chengdu Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, the Chengdu Municipal Public Security Bureau, and the Chengdu Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau (Supply and Marketing Cooperative) announced ten typical cases of special law enforcement actions for rural counterfeiting and shoddy products. Red Star News reporter noted that there is no shortage of "pork" in the typical cases released this time, as an important part of the pork processing process, pig slaughter directly affects the orderly circulation of meat and food safety.
On January 17, 2021, the Dujiangyan Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received reports from the masses, reflecting that someone in Yingxiang Village, Juyuan Town, Dujiangyan City, slaughtered pigs privately. At about 2:00 a.m. on January 18, the Dujiangyan City Agricultural Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade immediately conducted an on-site investigation. After investigation, a place in the original Yingxiang Village, Juyuan Town, Dujiangyan City, is engaged in pig slaughtering activities (a pig with a net weight of 130 kg and has been slaughtered for sale), and the place has not obtained a pig fixed-point slaughtering certificate. The parties' conduct of engaging in pig slaughtering activities without designated points violated the provisions of the second paragraph of Article 2 of the State Council's Regulations on the Administration of Pig Slaughter. On June 9, 2021, the Dujiangyan Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, in accordance with the provisions of the second paragraph of article 2 and the first paragraph of article 24 of the Regulations on the Administration of Pig Slaughter, imposed an administrative penalty of confiscating 130 kilograms of pig products, 3 slaughtering knives, 3 shaving knives, 17 iron hooks and fining 20,020 yuan on the party Wang Mouhua.
On April 20, 2021, law enforcement officers of the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs discovered that pig slaughtering activities were being carried out in a farmhouse located at No. 34, Group 8, Jianfeng Village, Tangmou Town, Pidu District. The party, Ye Mougui, was engaged in pig slaughtering activities in the rented farmhouse, and there were 21 pigs and dead pigs (net weight 3100 kilograms and a value of about 70,000 yuan) at the illegal slaughter site, and the pig fixed-point slaughtering certificate was not obtained. The parties' conduct of engaging in pig slaughtering activities without designated points violated the provisions of the second paragraph of Article 2 of the State Council's Regulations on the Administration of Pig Slaughter. Because it has met the criteria for filing a case for the crime of illegal business operation, the case was transferred to the public security organ for investigation and handling on June 17, 2021, and the public security organ has filed the case on July 1.

On December 17, 2020, the Chengdu Jinniu District Market Supervision Bureau received a tip from the public security organ that during the inspection of Jinfurong Avenue in Jinniu District, It was found that Lin Mou (the cargo owner) was carrying a vehicle loaded with about 1 ton of fresh hair belly that may be involved in the epidemic. After investigation, the total amount of 1070 kilograms of hair belly (all seized and not flowed into the market) came from Iran, and the cargo owner did not perform the obligation of incoming goods inspection when picking up the goods by himself at Shuangliu Airport, and did not obtain the inspection and quarantine "Import Customs Clearance Certificate", nucleic acid test report, killing certificate and other documents. On March 22, 2021, the Jinniu District Market Supervision Bureau issued a warning, confiscated the hair belly involved in the case of Lin X's sale of untucked mao belly, confiscated the hair belly involved in the case, and imposed an administrative penalty of 2.0859 million yuan on the food safety law for violating articles 34 and 53 of the Food Safety Law.
