Where is the source of Chinese liquor? Did it originate 3,000 years ago, or 6,000 years ago, or earlier and more distantly?

In the autumn of 1982, a Jinzhong archaeological team composed of archaeologists from the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics, the Institute of Archaeology and Jilin University came to the site of Xinghua Village in Fenyang, Shanxi Province, and conducted field investigation and trial excavation of this land.

After excavations, as well as the excavation of physical objects such as small-mouth pointed urns, archaeologists believe that the ancestors of Xinghua Village began to master the primary technology of artificial winemaking at least 6,000 years ago.

In the Tang Dynasty 1300 years ago, on the basis of Fen sake, the winemakers in Xinghua Village continuously improved their craftsmanship and quality, began to use solid mixtures, distilled to extract wine, and used Daqudi tank fermentation, completing the leap from rice wine to liquor quality, and stereotyping the basic process of Chinese liquor.

During the Kangxi Dynasty 300 years ago, the Qing Dynasty official Shangshu Song Ji organized a banquet known as the "China Fenjiu Poetry Society", and the poets drank and sang and left many famous pieces. This is the first time that Fenjiu, as a National Liquor, has been listed in the Hall of Elegance and included in the "Four Libraries of the Whole Book", and Fenjiu has begun its 300-year brand history.

Fenjiu uses its own spirit of daring to fight and innovate to create the "Fenjiu Model", which has become an industry benchmark and led the development of the industry. In 1994, Fenjiu, as the first listed liquor company in China, shook the entire Chinese liquor industry.

Fenjiu's 2020 performance report shows that it will achieve operating income of 13.996 billion yuan in 2020, an increase of 17.69% year-on-year. In 2020, Fenjiu will continuously enrich the product matrix and increase the number of high-end products to consolidate its brand power, while accelerating the channel reform, strengthening terminal price control, and supporting the release of brand value.
