Zhuge Liang's five northern expeditions are sad to think about; Sun Quan's five dozen hits Hefei, but it makes people laugh!
Cao Cao's life was heroic and legendary. Cao Cao has the ability to "change the machine without a direction, slightly out of the world", sweeping the Yellow Turban, begging Dong Zhuo, suppressing Lü Bu, destroying Yuan Shu, defeating Yuan Shao, Ding Liaodong, lowering Liu Chun, Ping ZhangLu, and breaking Ma Chao, and has been fighting for more than thirty years in his life, which can be called invincible and unfavorable, and is praised as "an extraordinary person, a master of transcendence"!
Liu Bei's life was bumpy and inspiring. Liu Bei started a business several times and was defeated, but his ambitions were not lost, and he successively lived under the command of Gongsun Zhan, Tao Qian, Lü Bu, Cao Cao, Yuan Shao, Liu Biao and others, "bending and not bending, and finally not being down", after borrowing a place, he finally gained a foothold. Defeating Cao Cao in the ultimate showdown in Hanzhong, Liu Bei finally realized his ideal of life, and with the bottom of the mat weaving and selling shoes, he climbed and fought for more than thirty years, becoming the hegemony of the emperor, and was praised as "the wind of the high ancestors, the instrument of the hero"!
Sun Ce's life was short and brilliant. At the age of 17, Sun Ce cleaned up his father's mess, carried the banner of the Sun family, and after burying his father, settling his mother and younger brother, he rode to Shouchun on horseback and became a horse pawn under Yuan Shu's account. He gradually became famous for his bravery in battle, and after several military ups and downs, he accumulated rich combat experience and organized the remnants of his father's old department; after repeated perfunctory jokes by Yuan Shu, he replaced three thousand soldiers with a jade seal mortgage and marched to Jiangdong. Once he left Yuan Shu's restraint, he immediately entered the sea like a dragon, "broad and obedient, good at using people, wise and transcendent, and using soldiers like gods", attacked Liu Xuan, defeated Wang Lang, broke yan white tiger, "heroic and brilliant, fierce and sharp crown the world", successively took Lingcheng, Huiji, Lujiang, Yuzhang and other places, single-handedly laid the foundation of Jiangdong.

For Liu Bei, Cao Cao commented, "Today's heroes, only the king and Cao Er"; for Sun Ce, Cao Cao commented, "Yi'er, it is difficult to fight with the front"!
Cao Cao, Liu Bei, and Sun Ce all had peak achievements in their military careers, so what about Sun Quan?
Create the foundation, Sun Jian's; pacify Jiangdong, Sun Ce's; the Battle of Chibi, the Battle of NanJun, Zhou Yu's; sneak attack on Jingzhou, Lü Meng (including Lu Xun); the Battle of Yiling, the Battle of Shiting, Lu Xun's; these are nothing sun quan at all! As for the two great victories of the late Eastern Wu Dynasty, the Battle of Dongxing, which was Zhuge Ke's and the Battle of Xiling, was lu kang; these had nothing to do with Sun Quan!
So did Sun Quan have any military action? Yes! He's on the bar with Hefei!
From 208 to 235 AD, in the past 30 years, Sun Quan attacked Hefei five times, but he did not return, and staged many mysterious operations, and even once became a joke!
If we only talk about military ability, if Cao Cao and Liu Bei belong to gold, and Sun Ce belongs to the gold that died suddenly, then Sun Quan probably does not even count silver!
This article includes three parts: 1. Why did Sun Quan die in Hefei? 2. The process and results of Sun Quan's five conquests of Hefei; 3. Why did Sun Quan fail?

01.Why did Sun Quan hit Hefei? Why stare at Hefei?

Before the Battle of Chibi, Sun Quan basically stabilized the situation in Jiangnan and could sit firmly in Jiangdong by virtue of the Yangtze River Graben. As Cao Cao said, "When you have a son, you should be like Sun Zhongmou", in terms of stabilizing the situation and governing internal affairs, Sun Quan is indeed a good hand, a hundred times stronger than Liu Biao's two sons! But this comment is limited to this, and it is not at all a tribute to Sun Quan's military ability.
After the Battle of Chibi, Sun Quan's heart was put on the agenda.
Father Sun Jian, known as the tiger of Jiangdong, crusaded against the Yellow Turban, attacked Dong Zhuo, and beheaded Huaxiong; the elder brother Sun Ce, known as the little overlord of Jiangdong, started from scratch, Ping Jiangdong, and Dingjiye; compared with the heroic father and brother, Sun Quan always felt like a second generation of officials who won!
Therefore, Sun Quan urgently needs to use force to consolidate his prestige, and he needs a big victory led by himself to prove his military ability and achievements! Therefore, Sun Quan took advantage of chibi's victory and set his sights on Hefei.
Why Hefei?
This was determined by the operational superiority of Eastern Wu. The advantage of the Wu army lies in the water army, Sun Quan must give full play to the strengths and avoid the weaknesses, and give full play to the advantages of the water army, while Hefei can maximize the advantages of the water army!
As shown in the figure, Hefei is not on the border between Wu and Wei, but in the hinterland of the Wei state. However, Eastern Wu could cross the Yangtze River into the Shuishu Water, access Chao Lake, and then send water out, and then it could directly approach the city of Hefei. This developed and smooth "water highway" allowed Eastern Wu's warships to come and go freely, often attract troops to Hefei City, and did not have to worry about logistical supplies, compared to Zhuge Liang's grain transportation in Qishan, it was a hundred times faster! The State of Wei could not effectively deploy the water system at all, and could only defend the city.
If you can take Hefei, you will be a million profits! Once he stands firm in Hefei, he can go north from Shishui and enter Shuishui to threaten Shouchun, which is Sun Quan's ultimate vision, if he takes Shouchun again, he can insert it directly into the heart of Wei Guo through Yingshui!
However, fantasy is beautiful, reality is bone! After Sun Quan lost the first once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, he was flattened by Zhang Liao for the second time, but he still stubbornly conquered Hefei three times in succession.
Why did Sun Quan die in Hefei? Is it because the illusion has never been shattered?
Not at all!
Hefei's strategic location is a double-edged sword. The State of Wei always firmly controlled Hefei, and could also start cutting Wu from the "Water Expressway" at any time, and in an instant it could be across the river from Jianye (Wudu). Therefore, Hefei is like a sword hanging over The head of Eastern Wu, making it difficult for Sun Quan to sleep and eat, so Sun Quan wants to take Hefei at all costs.
Just as the so-called "guarding the river must defend Huai", Sun Quan just wants to take Hefei and build a second line of defense in Huaishui, in order to truly sit back and relax. If Hefei was in the hands of the State of Wei, then the strategic defense system would not be perfect.
In fact, for the Northern Expedition, Sun Quan did not think too much, he just wanted to stick to Jiangdong!

02.What is Sun Quan's record in "five dozen Hefei"?

The First Battle of Hefei. Time: the end of 208 AD; Characters: Sun Quan, Zhang Zhao, Zhang Hong, etc.; Military strength: 100,000.
Background: The Battle of Chibi had just been won, and Cao Cao's main force was still stationed in the north of Jingzhou. Zhou Yu, Lü Meng, Gan Ning, Jiang Qin, and others besieged Cao Ren in Jiangling, while Guan Yu went on a guerrilla campaign with Xu Huang, Le Jin, Man Yu, Li Tong, and others to buy time for Zhou Yu to besiege the city. Soon after The Death of Liu Fugang, the Taishou of Hefei, was replaced by Jiang Ji and some unknown generals who guarded Hefei.
In fact, Sun Ce once took Hefei in the era, but after Sun Cexin's death, Hefei was snatched away by Liu Fu, who single-handedly built the fortifications of Hefei City.
Approximate process:
Sun Quan besieged the city for more than a month without any progress, and it was rumored that Cao Cao had withdrawn from Jingzhou and sent his general Zhang Xi to aid Hefei, but Zhang Xi was delayed. Sun Quan was in a hurry, and even wanted to personally charge with the death squad and "lead a light horse to attack the enemy", but fortunately he was persuaded by Chang Shi Zhang Hong to die before giving up. As the commander of the three armed forces and the head of a country, Sun Quan actually wanted to learn from Gan Ning and become the leader of the death squad? I finally understood why, in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, when Zhang Liao fought, Sun Quan actually "raised his gun and wanted to fight himself", he was a real tiger!
After nearly four months of siege, after continuous rain, the city walls of Hefei were about to collapse, and the Wei army could only repair the walls with blades of grass, trapped in the struggle, and Zhang Xi's reinforcements still had not arrived. Seeing that the defensive line was about to collapse, Jiang Ji created false information, falsely claiming that Zhang Xi's reinforcements were about to take place, bringing 40,000 people.
Sun Quan had 100,000 people, and there was no need to be afraid at all, but "Quan Believed in it, so he burned and walked away, and the city was complete." Sun Quan retreated in such a gray and slippery way!
Who is this Zhang Xi? Anyway, the author is lonely and unheard of, I really don't know, but before anyone else arrived, he actually scared Sun Quan away!
The Second Battle of Hefei. Time: Autumn 214 AD; Characters: Sun Quan, Lü Meng, Jiang Qin, Ling Tong, Gan Ning; Troop Strength: 100,000.
Background: Guan Yu and Lu Suduo had many disputes, when Cao Cao was recruiting Zhang Lu, Liu Bei took the initiative to sign an alliance with Eastern Wu on Xiangshui and ceded the three counties, Sun Liu and Liu's two families divided Jingzhou equally, and then Liu Bei was busy seizing Yizhou. Cao Caoyuan was difficult to withdraw from Hanzhong, so Sun Quan saw the opportunity and went out again, and brought out the elite military generals and 100,000 main forces. The towns guarding Hefei were Zhang Liao, Li Dian, and Le Jin, with only 7,000 men under their command.
This time is the most famous Battle of Xiaoyaojin, and there are two main parts.
The first game, the first to climb and fight. Zhang Liao gathered eight hundred warriors overnight, launched a charge at dawn, Zhang Liao personally put on armor and held a halberd to rush forward, beheaded two generals, killed dozens of people, "rushed in, to Quan's command", the Eastern Wu army was in an instant chaos, Sun Quan was forced to the top of the mountain, during which time, the General Chen Wu of Eastern Wu was killed. Zhang Liao shouted at the top of the mountain to challenge, and Sun Quan defended himself with a long sword and did not dare to move. After that, Zhang Liao was surrounded by the Wu army, but when the siege broke out, the warriors shouted in unison, "The general abandons me?" Zhang Liao reflexively attacked, "Liao Fu also broke through and pulled out the remnants", while the Wu army was defeated and left. In this scuffle, Zhang Liao killed the prestige of "Jiangdong children stop crying".
The second one, the Ambush Battle of XiaoyaojinBei. After Sun Quan had been deadlocked for more than ten days, "the city was unstoppable, and the army was still there", and when he retreated to the north of Xiaoyaojin, Zhang Liao rushed out again and surrounded a small group of troops led by Sun Quan. Gan Ning, as the number one fierce general in Eastern Wu, led archers to cover, while Lü Meng and Jiang Qin fought to the death, and Ling Tong led three hundred soldiers into the siege to save Sun Quan. This fight, everyone is too familiar with, will not repeat, only roughly talk about the results. Zhang Liao did not know Sun Quan himself, did not find the primary target, and finally let Sun Quan jump off the bridge to escape; Ling Tong's relatives were all killed, and he himself was traumatized, after confirming that Sun Quan fled, Ling Tong sneaked to escape, "was armored into the water, drooling Jinzhu", Ling Tong was actually beaten and cried, wailing on the riverbank!
After this war, Zhang Liao once asked the prisoners of war that I had met a man with a purple beard and a short upper and lower length in the melee, and it felt strange that he did not know who it was. The descendant replied that it was Sun Quan, and Zhang Liao was immediately annoyed!
One hundred thousand to seven thousand, and finally was flattened by eight hundred, and almost captured, Sun Quan's record is also no one! If Sun Ce had knowledge underground, would he jump out violently?
The Third Battle of Hefei. Time: Autumn 230 AD; Characters: Led by Sun Quan; Troop Strength: Ominous.
Background: At this time, it was the period of Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition. Cao Allah Zhang turned defensive to attack, so Cao Zhen, Sima Yi, and Zhang Gao attacked Shu in three ways, and Zhuge Liang went all out to meet the enemy. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Sun Quan once again requisitioned Hefei. The Zhendong general Who guarded Hefei was the one who helped Cao Ren successfully resist Guan Yu, and he created a new city of Hefei.
Sun Quan may have been instigated by Zhang Eight Hundred, as long as Zhang Liao was there, Sun Quan did not dare to act rashly, and once said to his subordinates, "Although Zhang Liao is ill, he should not be treated as well, be cautious!" It was not until eight years after Zhang Liao's death that Sun Quan began to attack Hefei again.
Man Yu immediately went to the table for help and summoned troops from Yanzhou and Yuzhou to come to his aid, and after Sun Quan learned of the information, he chose to retreat strategically. Man Yu saw through Sun Quan's plot and did not disband the reinforcements, but waited in a strict position. Sun Quan did make a comeback, but "did not return".
It seems that Sun Quan wanted to exploit a loophole, but his intention was discovered, and he finally returned home, perhaps, this time it was just a bluff to test the truth.
The Fourth Battle of Hefei. Time: At the end of 233 AD, the characters: Sun Quan, Quan Chun (Sun Luban's husband); the strength of the army: about 100,000, of which Quan Chun was more than 50,000 people.
Background: Gongsun Yuan of Liaodong claimed a vassal to Eastern Wu, and Sun Quan was overjoyed, and despite the opposition of the people, he sent emissaries to Liaodong with gold jewels and shells to crown Gongsun Yuan as the King of Yan. However, Gongsun Yuan was a fraudster, and he beheaded the emissaries and annexed the treasures, but instead claimed to Cao Rui as a vassal. My cousin, Emperor Wu of Eastern Wu, was actually teased by you? So Sun Quan wanted to conquer Liaodong, and Gu Yong, Zhang Zhao, and others hurriedly dissuaded, "You can't move In Hefei, do you still want to fight Liaodong and fly over?" So Sun Quan turned his anger to Cao Wei and attacked Hefei again, and the town guarding Hefei was still full of favors.
Sun Quan besieged hefei New Town, but his performance was that "with its distant water, he did not dare to get off the ship for twenty days."
Hefei New City, located more than 30 miles northwest of the old city. The construction of Hefei New City by Manchu was to make up for the shortcomings of the old city (the Eastern Wu army could take a boat directly to the city), and if Eastern Wu attacked the new city, it would have to get off the ship and walk thirty miles overland.
Although the Eastern Wu army surrounded the new city, Sun Quan himself did not dare to get off the ship for more than twenty days! This guts, tbh!
Man Yu chose to move his troops out of the city, and Sun Quan became bold, so he went ashore to parade troops to make a strong threat. Man Yu had already made preparations, sent six thousand cavalry to ambush out, "pawns attacked, beheaded hundreds, or there were people who died in the water", Sun Quan fled back to the water in a hurry, and the Eastern Wu army was drowned in a small number. After Sun Quan stabilized his mind, he attacked the city in anger, and asked Quan Chun to lead 50,000 troops to attack Liu'an to divide the defensive position of Hefei, but both did not return.
As a monarch and commander-in-chief, when he first attacked Hefei, he still dared to charge to the death, but now he did not dare to get off the ship, and the more he fought, the more he retreated? I really don't know how the Eastern Wu warriors feel!
The Fifth Battle of Hefei. Time: Spring 234 AD; Characters: Sun Quan, Lu Xun, Zhuge Jin, Sun Shao; Troop Strength: 200,000!
Background: After several years of recuperation, Zhuge Liang waved nearly 100,000 troops to start the last Northern Expedition, and then invited Sun Quan to join him in attacking Wei. Sun Quan personally led 100,000 troops into the mouth of Chaohu Lake and opened the last attack on Hefei. During this period, Sun Quan asked Lu Xun and Zhuge Jin to lead another main force to attack Xiangyang, and Sun Shao led tens of thousands of troops to attack Guangling, forming a three-way attack. At this time, the general who guarded Hefei was called Zhang Ying.
This time, Sun Quan is playing really! Why?
Cao Wei's defensive line mainly consisted of three parts: the Huainan region, the Jingxiang region, and the northwest region, and Cao Rui once said, "The former emperor placed Hefei in the east, Xiangyang in the south, and Qishan in the west, and those who thieves came to break under the three cities must fight." Zhuge Liang attacked Qishan, Lu Xun attacked Xiangyang, and Sun Quan attacked Hefei, which was the front station in huainan.
At this time, Man Pet, who was already in his seventies, had retired, but he was worried about hefei's defenses. Man Yu once suggested abandoning Hefei Xincheng and luring Wu Jun to Shouchun in the Huainan region, but Cao Rui disagreed; Man Yu suggested leading an army to rescue Zhang Ying, cao Rui thought that xincheng could defend itself, and did not agree. In fact, Cao Rui had other plans.
Man's suggestions were rejected one after another, so like Lao Lianpo and Lao Huangzhong, he gathered dozens of warriors overnight, broke pine branches into torches, poured sesame oil, and set fire to arrows from the upper wind outlet, and the fire quickly spread to the siege equipment of the Eastern Wu Army. Sun Quan's nephew Sun Tai rushed to put out the fire, but was killed by a random arrow accelerated by the wind, and the Eastern Wu army was discouraged.
Sun Quan was furious and launched a fierce attack on Xincheng, but was held by Zhang Ying and was difficult to overcome. Shortly thereafter, Cao Rui personally marched and led the army east in a dragon boat, "the army did not reach hundreds of miles, and quan fled." Sun Quan heard that Cao Rui was coming, and there were still hundreds of miles to go, so he quickly withdrew!
In this battle, Zhang Ying was remembered by Cao Rui as the first merit. This Zhang Ying, definitely not a girl, is similar to Zhang Xi who first aided Hefei, is an unknown martial general, but Sun Quan just can't fight it!
Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition was not at all afraid of Wave after wave of reinforcements from Cao Wei, but went head-on, unless the grain and grass were not good before withdrawing. Sun Quan, you heard that the other side had reinforcements coming, you retreated, why did you come?
Summary: Looking at Sun Quan's five conquests of Hefei, his record is simply unbearable. The first time, he was scared away by false intelligence; the second time, he was beaten by Zhang Eight Hundred and almost captured; the third time, he was recognized by Man Yu and retreated; the fourth time, he was ambushed by Man Yu; the fifth time, he first folded his nephew, and was stubbornly resisted by Zhang Ying, and finally scared away by Cao Rui.

03.Why did Sun Quan fail repeatedly?

The first is the managerial factor.
The personal charm, courage, determination and willpower of the commander-in-chief all determine the combat effectiveness of the three armies! Try to see Cao Cao, after learning the intelligence of Wuchao Tun grain, he immediately made a decision and personally led five thousand cavalry to the raid; then look at Sun Ce, in a series of offensive battles, he also personally used his life many times, which boosted the morale of the three armies to the greatest extent; not to mention Liu Bei, he climbed up from the bottom, once as a military general, he repeatedly went to the battlefield to kill the enemy, and the number of times he went out on the battlefield was much more than sun Quan's expedition!
Look at Sun Quan again. Heard that Zhang Xi is coming? I withdraw! Zhang Liao's eight hundred men dared to attack my army of 100,000? I hide in the mountains! Does Zhang Liao still dare to ambush my retreating main force? I jumped off the bridge and went! Attacking Hefei New City to get off the ship? I've been on the boat for more than twenty days! 100,000 people can't take Down Zhang Ying? I'm angry! Cao Rui still has hundreds of miles to reach the battlefield? I hurry up and flash people!
The commander was incompetent and exhausted the three armies. With this kind of determination and fighting spirit, just this kind of courage and boldness, how can we lead the three armies? Once the soldiers had no morale, they had long wanted to go home and report that they were safe!
The second is the disadvantage of siege warfare.
Cao Cao attacked Pi, was strictly guarded by Lü Bu, and finally flooded, causing infighting on the other side before taking it; Cao Cao attacked the city of Yicheng, was tried to strictly guard against it, and finally flooded, causing the other side to mutiny before taking it; Zhuge Liang attacked Chen Cang, with an overwhelming superiority in troops, besieged the city for several months, and even could not take Hao Zhao! In fact, siege warfare is really hard, and it is a hard job to please!
Siege warfare, the competition is the fortifications of the city, the hoarding of materials, the will to fight on both sides, and the supply of the rear, in most cases, both sides are at work. If the other side's city is strong enough, then it will be more difficult to conquer after a certain date and the sharpness is lost.
Siege is a technical job, while Eastern Wu is good at water warfare, but it is not good at siege. When Zhou Yu besieged the city and attacked Nan County, Guan Yu came to the rescue from the periphery, and Cao Ren was isolated and helpless, but he held out for a year! On the other hand, the experience of defending the city of wei was far from being comparable to that of the water army of the State of Wu, when Cao Ren defended Fancheng, the city was flooded by Guan Yu, and the city walls were in ruins, and finally they all held on!
In addition, Hefei New Town has been repeatedly repaired and can be called impregnable. Therefore, it is not surprising that Sun Quanwei is not restrained!
In fact, twenty years later, Zhuge Ke attacked Hefei again, and he encountered a Hefei defender named Zhang Te.
Zhuge Ke besieged the city in March, built a rapid attack on Tushan, Zhang Tejun suffered many casualties, Wei reinforcements did not arrive, the city showed signs of ruin, almost collapsed! Zhang Te asked for surrender by deception, and his words were pious and humble, and Zhuge Ke credulously believed him and offered the city about the next day. But Zhang Te demolished the house facilities overnight, carried a large amount of wood, strengthened and repaired the city walls, and shouted in the city the next day, "I have a fighting ear!" Zhuge Ke was furious and attacked again, but it was already difficult to overcome!
After that, under the combined attack of Sima Fu and Yuqiu Jian, Zhuge Ke was defeated and left. Back in the Kingdom of Wu, he was quickly killed by Sun Liang and Sun Jun!
Zhuge Ke's fiasco was due to the credulity of the enemy, but in the final analysis, it was also because the fortifications of Hefei New City were extremely perfect, and once repaired, they were immediately resurrected with blood!
Let's talk about Sun Quan. Is there any chance he will win? There really is! It was the first Battle of Hefei!
But that was the first time Sun Quan led the troops out on the expedition, he behaved too much, at that time the old city of Hefei could not hold back, Jiang Ji also reached the point of exhaustion, he threw out a Zhang Xi who did not know where, he wanted to deceive (but also stabilize the heart of the army), and actually scared Sun Quan away! If Sun Quan had half the courage of Sun Ce, it was likely that he would directly go down with a drum!
You see Zhou Yu, when attacking Nan County, was shot in the right rib by a flying arrow, and when he heard that Cao Ren personally commanded the soldiers to fight, he endured the pain and went out of the tent, "Stir up the officials, Ren Yu is retreating"! If Sun Quan had this kind of courage, he would not be able to defeat the fragmented Jiang Ji?
Are there any other opportunities? There really is!
In the winter of 219 AD, Cao Wei's Jingxiang defense line was tight, Yu Ban and Pound De were completely destroyed, Cao Rendu was about to abandon the city and flee, Xu Huang led the crowd to help, and Zhang Liao of Hefei was also withdrawn, as a reserve team to prepare for action. Cao Cao was thinking about moving the capital, and he didn't have the heart to think about anything else!
At this juncture, Zhang Liao was absent, and Sun Quan should immediately attack Hefei, although it may not be able to conquer, but it is also the best opportunity. However, Sun Quan, as an ally, did not choose to respond to the allies, but listened to the words of the envoys of the State of Wei.
He went to steal Jingzhou! He went to kill Guan Yu! Liu Bei had already divided Jingzhou equally and was going all out to carry out the Northern Expedition, while Sun Quan was engaged in backstabbing! This operation is really drunk!
It is hard to imagine that without Zhou Yu's main battle faction, Sun Quan would really surrender! In the Battle of Yiling, without Zhou Yu, Sun Quan actually claimed to Cao Wei! Therefore, he was jokingly called "King Wu of Great Wei", so he asked Sun Quan, are you embarrassed?
It is hard to imagine that if there was no such a talent as Lu Xun, Sun Quan would really be destroyed by Liu Bei! After Lu Xun burned the camp, Sun Quan took a breath and immediately turned his face to Cao Pi! However, Sun Quan was later put together by Gongsun Yuan, which can also be regarded as a report and a report!
Sun Quan's obsessive operation is simply not too much!
If Sun Quan in the early years was still a hero, then Sun Quan in the later period was simply faint!
After the death of Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang and others, Sun Quan seemed to be missing the goal of life, he was busy selecting women, busy engaged in palace fighting, establishing a prince and a fenglu king, triggering a dispute between the two palaces, bloodbathing the Jiangdong Shi clan, and finally triggering a series of tragic children and children, bloody palace fights between the powerful ministers, pushing Eastern Wu into the abyss of no return. Regarding the tragic palace battles in Eastern Wu, it has been elaborated in the previous article "Sun Quan's Family Affair", and this article will not list them.
Cao Cao said, "When you have a son, you should be like Sun Zhongmou", but this sentence is limited to the early Sun Quan, limited to Sun Quan's internal affairs and stable situation.
Xiahou Yuan, Cao Cao once praised him as "the tiger strides to the right, and the direction is invincible", but he actually repaired the antlers himself (similar to Sun Quan's death squad) and was beheaded by Liu Bei and Huang Zhong, so Cao Cao also commented that he was "not able to use troops, and the army was called a general of Baidi".
If Cao Cao opened the perspective of God and saw a series of operations by Sun Quan later, I think he would definitely retract his comments, or say, "Let Zhang Liao supplement the evaluation"!
Finally, it seems that a law has suddenly been discovered.
Zhang Xi, Zhang Liao, Zhang Ying, Zhang Te, the military generals surnamed Zhang, are simply the lucky stars of Hefei!
Whether it is the old city of Hefei repaired with blades of grass or the new city of Hefei repaired with wooden beams, it will be the eternal nightmare of Eastern Wu, and it will also be the hidden pain that Sun Quan will never forget for a lifetime!
