It is reported that these two ancient ginkgo bilobas are located in the "Xue Family Temple", which is recorded in the Jiading Gazetteer: Xuejia Village is located in the southeast of Jianguo Village, covering an area of 2.6 hectares, with 30 households and 100 people. During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, there were three surnames of Li, Huang and Peng who built houses next to the Xue Family Temple, named after the temple village, and the settlement was circular. Today, the Xue Family Temple is long gone, but two ancient ginkgo trees that are more than 180 years old are still alive.
