Kalbarri National Park is located on the west coast of Western Australia, about 560 kilometres south of Perth, the capital of Western Australia, covering an area of approximately 1,830 square kilometres.
The national park is mainly divided into two parts, one part is the river valley that surrounds the Murchison River, and the other part is the beautiful coastline that stretches for 8 kilometers. This is the view of the river valley! You can also see emus and kangaroos below the river valley.
The main landform of the park is the Castor landform, which is this weathered red sandstone! The Loop Walk Top Trail is not easy to walk and even requires climbing rocks! The ancient ocean tidal flats formed brilliant red sandstones, as if they had transported me back 400 million years.
This is the famous Nature's Window, the rock looks like a window, attracting many tourists to take pictures.

The standing plaque here tells the history of laminated rocks: blue algae-based microorganisms in seawater, through the absorption and precipitation of minerals during growth and metabolism, forming laminated organic deposits, which grow very slowly, increasing by only 0.33 mm per year. The oxygen they produce creates the earth's environment and is the origin of all living things! It can be said that without laminated rocks, there would be no earth now.
