Wang Shuo Memorial Park covers an area of 253 square meters, and in the center of the garden stands a bronze sculpture of the bust of the martyr Wang Shuo, created by Xu Hongfei, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, director of the China Artists Association and president of the Guangzhou Sculpture Institute.
The base of the sculpture is 1.2 meters long, which means the birthday of the martyr Wang Shuo on January 2; the stone slab on the ground of the base is 3.6 meters wide, symbolizing the 36-year-old glory of the martyr Wang Shuo; the stone slab in the forecourt is 2.6 meters long, representing the 26 days and nights of the martyr Wang Shuo's fight against the epidemic in Jingzhou; the stone slab in the back courtyard is 3.13 meters long, which means that the martyr Wang Shuo died in the line of duty on March 13, 2020.
Yi Xuefeng, secretary of the party committee of the Guangdong Provincial Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Institute, reviewed the deeds of the martyr Wang Shuo.
