As the "new business card of Russian ballet" on par with the Bolshoi Theatre and the Mariinsky Theatre Ballet, st. Petersburg Eifman Ballet, with its highly innovative artistic style, subverted the perception of traditional ballet once unveiled.
The company not only maintains the rigorous norms and superb skills of the Russian ballet genre, but also integrates the stage art and film expression techniques of the twentieth century, under the unique creation of the founder and choreographer Boris Eifman's "Psychological Ballet", with dazzling choreography, strong emotional tension and dramatic conflict, leaving a deep impression on the audience and swept the global stage.
In order to create a perfect presentation, Eifman is also extremely strict in the selection criteria of dancers: in addition to having a solid foundation in classical ballet, it is also necessary to know how to use the body to express emotions. A carefully selected group of "high altitude" long legs – female dancers not less than 1 meter 72, male actors not less than 1 meter 83 - on the stage, every move can be called a pleasing "moving scenery". Eifman believes: "Dance is the art of line movement, and good height is more tense and can express emotions more abundantly. ”

The Eifman Ballet will return with two classic masterpieces, Anna Karenina and The Brothers Karamazov, and unveiled them at the Tianqiao Theater in Beijing. These dancers, who are not inferior to models and whose appearance is comparable to that of stars, jump their toes and re-enthronize the immortal masterpieces with dance vocabulary, which makes people look forward to it.
