Xi'an, 27 Oct (Xinhua) -- The swimming competition of the 11th National Paralympic Games and the 8th Special Olympics continued to be held at the Swimming and Diving Hall of the Xi'an Olympic Sports Center on the 27th, and two more world records were surpassed.

In the men's 50m backstroke S5 level competition held on the afternoon of the 27th, Yunnan's Zheng Tao and Hubei's Yuan Weiyi surpassed the world record with a time of 31.44 seconds and 31.54 seconds respectively, and won the first and second places respectively; Tokyo Paralympic champion and Zhejiang's Jiang Yuyan won the championship in the women's 50m butterfly S6 competition with a time of 34.58 seconds, surpassing the world record of the event.

On the 28th, this year's Special Olympics will compete for the last competition day of the swimming event. (End)
