On March 4, 1910, the daughter of Liu Shipei and He Zhen was born and named "Jiao".

However, at the level of Traditional Chinese studies such as Liu Shipei, taking this word is a major mistake.

颎, the ancient same as "Jiong", originally refers to "bright appearance", such as "Jiong Jiong has a god". Mao Shi Shu Shu vol. 13-1 "Gu Feng Zhi Shi": "No thoughts and no worries, not out of the jaw." Mao Chuan: "Jaw, light also." "Selected Writings of the Six Ministers" Volume 13 Pan Anren (Pan An) "Qiu Xingfu": "The Xi Xi Xi of dengchuntai, the Jiong Jiong of the Golden Sable." Li Zhouhan's note: "Jaw, bright appearance." ”。

But "jiong" has another meaning – worry.

Chu Ci Zhang sentence volume 14 Yan Fuzi (Zhuang Jie) "Mourning The Fate of the Times": "The night is bright and not sleepy, and the worries are hidden and the calendar is full." Wang Yi's note: "The center of the speech is sad, and the eyes are bright, but cannot sleep." In September and October 1905, Liu Shipei was invited by Chen Duxiu to teach at Anhui River Middle School in Wuhu, Anhui. He was in a bad mood during that time. There is a sentence in his poem "Autumn Hope of Wuhu Ochre Mountain": "Linyu feels worried and worried, and the scenery is full of disobedience." ”

Su Manshu, a close friend who lived with him in the dormitory of Anhui River Middle School on the top of Ochre Mountain, wrote to Liu San on September 13, 1906: "Mr. Taiyan is now living in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Liu Shipei named his daughter "Jiao", which naturally took her "bright appearance". But he must have ignored or ignored the meaning of the word "worry."

The result is a slur. The child died before he was half a year old. Liu Shipei has two poems, "Wounded Female Jaw", containing 61 volumes (59-60) of "Liu Shenshu's Testament"; "Female Concubine Ming", containing 59 volumes (110) of "Liu Shenshu's Testament".
