2021 is the 76th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, although more than half a century has passed since the days of defending the country and fighting bravely to kill the enemy, but it is the so-called shame and courage. Only by remembering and reflecting on history can we walk with our heads held high on the great journey of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Only by remembering the martyrs and remembering the heroic deeds can we learn from the example, defend the family and defend the country, and win glory for the country.

In the War of Resistance Against Japan, we won one victory after another, which was inseparable from the tenacious struggle of ordinary soldiers, and also from the generals' pioneering and charging ahead. There were hundreds of senior generals who heroically sacrificed their lives for the War of Resistance Against Japan, and General Zhu Jialin was among them.
General Zhu Jialin was a heroic martyr of the Anti-Japanese Resistance, and even more a revolutionary martyr recognized by both the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="3" > the beginning of the military road</h1>
Zhu Jialin was born in Hebei in 1892. At that time, it was only two years after the Battle of Jia-Wu in 1894. At that time, China was in a period of internal and external troubles, the people were not happy, and the Qing government was vulnerable.
In 1922, Zhu Jialin graduated from the Eighth Artillery Department of the Baoding Military Academy, and Chiang Kai-shek was also enrolled in the school. In addition, he was also a classmate of Chen Cheng, a first-class general of the Chinese Kuomintang Army.
During his time in school, Zhu Jialin was simple and sincere. Especially when faced with homework, Zhu Jialin is meticulous and down-to-earth. He knew that only by studying well and improving his abilities in all aspects could he bravely kill the enemy and drive away the enemy on the battlefield.
After graduation, Zhu Jialin became an officer, because of his outstanding performance and heroic combat, he was given the opportunity to receive advanced class training in the Lushan Officer Training Corps, from which he graduated, Zhu Jialin became a brigade commander.
Zhu Jialin was born in a turbulent era, and then grew up hearing about the fact that the Japanese were killing chinese compatriots. Therefore, at a very young age, the seeds of resisting the Japanese and winning national liberation were already deeply rooted in his heart.
After growing up, after systematic training, coupled with his own willingness to work hard, he had the confidence and ability to resist the Japanese, and he was not soft in the face of the enemy, and soon stood out.

Soon in 1933, Zhu Jialin, who was the commander of the regiment at the time, learned that the Japanese army was stationed near Luo Wenyu in north China. Almost subconsciously, he quickly organized a "big knife team" under the command of his subordinate Li Zhenqing.
In one operation, Zhu Jialin used his rich combat experience and military theoretical knowledge to skillfully break into the enemy camp by night and annihilate hundreds of enemy troops. What is even more gratifying is that because the time and place of this operation were just right, the "big knife team" suffered very few casualties and revived the national prestige.
The battle was finally rewarded by the then commander Pang Bingxun, and also won the glorious title of "Iron Blood Regiment". Because of this, General Zhu Jialin was later honored as the "Iron-Blooded General".
A person's success is definitely not accidental, everyone grows up in step by step experience, and they all grow up in the face of temptation and desire to know restraint and strict self-discipline. The same is true of General Zhu Jialin.
He is not only mighty and courageous in battle, but also has his own set of rules in governing the army, he knows how to make use of his own advantages, and he knows very well that when leading subordinates, he must pay special attention to taking the lead and demonstrating role.
A representative incident is that when General Zhu Jialin was stationed in Anyang, Henan, he once led his troops to eliminate two groups of bandits entrenched in the local area, eliminating harm for the people and winning the hearts of the people. What is even more respectable is that after successfully annihilating the bandits, he issued an order to burn dozens of bags of tobacco soil seized on the spot in front of the local people.
Maybe everyone didn't understand the background of the times at that time, and there were not too many waves in general Zhu Jialin's move, but at that time, the price of a bag of tobacco soil was comparable to a piece of gold!
Even so, General Zhu Jialin was not confused by money and did not do anything that lost his principles. On the one hand, it is because he is well aware of the harm of tobacco soil to the people and the whole country, on the other hand, it is also because of his own high moral character, only to serve the country.
On weekdays, General Zhu Jialin demonstrated by example, a pair of cloth shoes worn out, continued to sew and mend, and continued to wear, without the shelf of high-ranking officials. It is precisely because of this that he is more deeply loved by soldiers and ordinary people.

In July 1937, the Japanese army launched a full-scale invasion of China. Zhu Jialin was already the commander of the 115th Brigade, participated in the famous Battle of Yaoguantun, and also shot down a Japanese heavy bomber.
In February 1938, the Japanese led an army of 2,000 people to the northeast of Linyi, and the offensive was fierce. The "iron-blooded general" Zhu Jialin received orders to go to Ju County. Worryingly, the Japanese army had reached 20,000 at that time. So, in the face of a relatively powerful enemy, does the army led by Zhu Jialin have a chance of victory?
Zhu Jialin was not intimidated by the difficulties and the strength of the enemy, and he calmed down, rationally analyzed the war situation, and chose the most effective way of fighting. He ordered 2 infantry regiments to counterattack and drove the Japanese troops who were approaching the city gate to the outskirts.
Just as the so-called soldiers are not tired of deception, the hateful Japanese army decided to adopt the night attack method of combat, and they sent a large team of troops to attack Juxian County, which seemed to be weakly garrisoned, in the middle of the night. Japan was complacent about its thoughts of being a foolproof way of fighting, believing that it would win a complete victory.
However, what they did not expect was that they met Zhu Jialin, the "iron-blooded general", and won Zhu Jialin's deception. The conceited Japanese army was beaten to tears and fled in all directions. After this battle, more than 300 enemy people were annihilated and 300 guns were captured, and the results were quite fruitful.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="12" > heroic and sacrificed for the country</h1>
One night in May 1938, Zhu Jialin, then the brigade commander of major generals, received orders from his superiors to lead his troops to cover the breakthrough of the whole army from Pei County, Jiangsu Province, but he did not expect to be surrounded by Japanese regiments for seven floors. Will Zhu Jialin be able to escape the "Sea of Fire" this time?
In the course of this battle, he also fought tenaciously and heroically, and he persisted until there were only a dozen soldiers left under his command, and then grabbed a jeep and rushed to the Japanese army.
However, what was extremely painful was that when they rushed to the sixth floor, Zhu Jialin and his subordinates were surrounded by clusters. Eventually, Zhu Jialin jumped out of the car and took his men to shoot at the Japanese.
The consequences can be imagined, Zhu Jialin and these dozen soldiers all died heroically. But in the face of a formidable enemy and their own weak position, they never expected to surrender and fought until the last moment of their lives.
On the night after the breakthrough of the whole army, one of Zhu Jialin's brothers returned to the battlefield, carried his body back, buried him, and buried him in peace. When people inspected Zhu Jialin's relics, they only found a Parker pen, and there was nothing else on his body. Later, at Zhu Jialin's memorial meeting, the officers and men wept uncontrollably.
The country will never forget the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the country. In 1988, Zhu Jialin was posthumously recognized as a revolutionary martyr by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. On September 1, 2014, Zhu Jialin was selected as a famous anti-Japanese martyr who sacrificed his life for the country in the War of Resistance Against Japan. Only by remembering history and remembering heroes and martyrs can we remember history and create the future.
