Luo Bing said that after dropping out of school, he tried some professions, he could support himself, but he had no interest, felt very vain, he also tried to write poetry, works have been published, but a look at the bill, "can not support themselves."
He decided to return to Beijing.
Under the recommendation of a friend, he met Cui Jian's former agent Wang Xiaojing, Wang is looking for someone to write a song: see me holding a guitar, just say that you sing it, after singing, he said "Peking University is different", now there are many composers, then you write lyrics.

I have a good musical memory, I hugged it and played it again, saying, you go, I want to sleep, you wake me up to dream, this is called "Dream Water Town", and the lyrics were written that night.
When Luo Bing wrote "Water Town in Dreams", he had not yet been to the Jiangnan area, and later, he often went to Jiangnan and saw many small towns with the names of his songs engraved with the names and lyrics of his songs.
I'd rather be a bard
After writing lyrics for several years, Luo Bing felt tired.
He said that a thing has been done for a long time, the original attraction is weakening, at the same time, the lyrics express limited things, he wants to express more things, he described the tiredness at that time: Now, I also take the stage to perform, sometimes, with the old guns before, sing for decades, that feeling is no longer the original, very reluctant.
