Taking major historical events as the clue and revolutionary geographical indications as the main axis, this exhibition is divided into five parts: "The Creation of the Guangdong Party Organization", "The Formation of the Center of the Chinese Revolution", "The Development of the Agrarian Revolutionary War", "The Mainstay of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in South China" and "Fighting for the Liberation of Guangdong", and selects nearly 200 pieces (sets) of cultural relics from 23 cultural and museum units in Guangdong Province and cities in various provinces and cities, and more than 700 pictures and historical materials, systematically showing the magnificent and majestic struggle process of the Communist Party of China in Guangdong during the period of the new democratic revolution.

"This exhibition is particularly rich in content, among the nearly 200 pieces (sets) of cultural relics selected, 37 are precious cultural relics (sets) and 6 are first-class cultural relics ." "In the exhibition, we restored the scene of the multi-party meeting of important figures at the three major meetings of the Communist Party of China, using infrared somatosensory technology and interaction with the audience, etc., to bring more diversified and rich visiting experiences to the audience." In October 1927, when Zhou Enlai led the Nanchang rebel army south, he lived in the home of Zheng Duanliang, a cousin of Zheng Duanliang, under the arrangement of Zheng Azhong, an underground party member in Lanhu Village, Nantang District, Lufeng County, Guangdong Province. Zhou Enlai, who was suffering from illness at the time, was carefully cared for by the Zheng family. This is the only surviving handwritten poem of the martyr Yang Zai'an that has been found so far. In 2002, Huo Baolian and his wife, descendants of Huo Zhipeng, donated them from Shanghai to the Zhuhai Museum.

In 1930, under the direct leadership and organization of Zhou Enlai, a secret communication line was established from Shanghai, through Hong Kong, Shantou, Chaozhou and Tai Po into Yongding and Changting in western Fujian, and finally to the central Soviet district of Jiangxi.

This line of communication played an important role in connecting the Shanghai Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with the Central Soviet Region, transmitting documents, transporting materials, escorting personnel, etc., and persisted until the Long March of the Central Red Army was never interrupted. On February 1, 1931, the Red Seventh Army entered Meihuawei (now part of Lechang City) in Ruyuan County. On February 3, the Red Seventh Army and the Nationalist army fought fiercely in the mountains near Meihuawei. The Red Army annihilated more than 1,000 enemy troops and paid a heavy price of more than 700 casualties.

The cultural relics are saddles, stirrups and horse bolts left by the Red Seventh Army when they were stationed in Lechang Meihua (then milk source) in February 1931.
