This is the white gala eye on the side of the Zhaoyuan River in Daqing. This fish is not large, the largest is the thickness of the thumb, about ten centimeters long, very similar to the gaga, but there is no gaga on the body of the obvious plaque, and its eyes around a circle of obvious white circles, so call it white gala eyes. Generally stewed with sauce, a thorn, the meat is tender and delicious. 13 yuan per catty.
This is the Gaga fish. This is more common. About 25 yuan per catty. My approach is home-cooked stew, or fish soup, which is absolutely delicious.
This cowtail fish. Can you see the difference? Depending on the color and body shape, the smallest is the white gala eye, followed by the gaga, and the oxtail is slightly larger.
