Forty-fourth time
Chen Zhenglei is a senior instructor of national martial arts, a member of the Chinese Wushu Association; one of the "Top Ten Martial Arts Masters" in contemporary China, and once served as the deputy director of the Wushu Hall of the Henan Provincial Sports Commission; the vice chairman of the Henan Wushu Association, the deputy director of the Henan Wushu Management Center; the chairman of the Henan Chen-style Taijiquan Association, and the chief coach of the Henan Taiji Fitness Training Center. He is a native of Chenjiagou Village, Wen County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, the eleventh generation of Chen-style Taijiquan, and the representative inheritor of the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage Taijiquan.
Chen Zhenglei, born in June 1949 in the Taijiquan family, is the 19th generation of the Chen clan of Chen Jiagou and the 11th generation of Taijiquan.
From the age of eight, Chen Zhenglei followed his uncle and famous taijiquan master Chen Zhaopi to practice family tai chi as well as knives, guns, swords, sticks and other instruments and tai chi pushers. Later, he studied under his uncle and famous taijiquan master Chen Zhaokui. Weekdays practice hard and diligently, kung fu is profound and pure, theoretical research is quite accomplished, known as "Taiji Kong".
Since the 1970s, he has won the Taijiquan, Sword and Push Hand Competition of the Henan Wushu Games for many times. Won two consecutive national tai chi competition championships, won two national martial arts competition special performance awards and observation and exchange "Golden Lion Award".
Chen Zhenglei often said: "I love Taijiquan because it was created and compiled by my ninth ancestor Wang Tinglao, and it is also a family study that our Chen family must inherit from generation to generation." ”
Chen Zhenglei-1
Since 1981, Chen Zhenglei has been actively involved in international martial arts cultural exchange activities. In July 1983, Chen Zhenglei, then the instructor of the Martial Arts Hall of the Henan Provincial Sports Commission and the coach of the Chen Jiagou Sports School of the Wenxian Sports Committee, was invited by his Japanese friend Hideo Miura to visit Japan as the first Tai Chi master in the history of Chen Jiagou to conduct Tai Chi exchanges. For more than 20 days, they visited eight cities, including Tokyo and Osaka, and exclaimed everywhere they went: "Chinese Kung Fu is coming!" ”
In foreign boxing, as in China, exchanges and exchanges cannot be avoided. Chen Zhenglei clearly remembers that in 1992, when he was lecturing at a martial arts gym in central Osaka, Japan, a martial arts practitioner offered to wrestle with him. Saying that, the man grabbed Chen Zhenglei's arm and fell down desperately, only to hear a loud "popping" sound, when people fixed their eyes to look again, the Japanese had already fallen to the ground, but no one could see clearly how the challenger fell to the ground. No wonder, because Chen Zhenglei punched out too fast.
Immediately after, another Japanese youth proposed to use the sanda method to compete with Chen Zhenglei. Only to see the Japanese youth jumping around like a monkey, taking turns to attack Chen Zhenglei, Chen Zhenglei was not in a hurry, gave way for several rounds, suddenly gently clapped, and the other party fell to the ground.
At this time, the owner of the martial arts gym couldn't hang on to his face, he didn't say a word, he rushed up in a big stride, and punched Chen Zhenglei in the chest. Listening only to the "bang" was another loud noise, the owner of the martial arts hall had already flown out of the way and fell to the ground, but Chen Zhenglei did not move at all. The Taijiquan stunt of "hitting people with force" was vividly interpreted by Chen Zhenglei, and the audience was first silent, followed by applause.
Chen Zhenglei-2
Not only in Japan, but also in Europe and the United States, most of them do not believe that this kind of slow-motion-like Chen-style tai chi can play a powerful fighting role. So after Chen Zhenglei talked about boxing every time, someone was always unconvinced and proposed to fight with him on the spot.
Once, a "heavyweight" figure came to Chen Zhenglei and offered to compete with Chen Zhenglei. When Chen Zhenglei looked at it, the people who came had big waists and rounded arms, like an iron tower, and the whole was a big hunk. The man came on the field, first gave Chen Zhenglei a dismount, he picked up a brick from the ground, hit it with his fingers, the brick foam flew wildly, and there was a finger hole, which showed that the finger strength was extraordinary. Chen Zhenglei did not move, asked him what to compare, the other party said than strength. Chen Zhenglei said, "Good. I'm standing here, you just have to push me, if I move my feet, I lose. ”
The "big man" was secretly happy, and he had enough strength to push at Chen Zhenglei. However, he soon realized that he was wrong, and he could not exert any strength, as if he had touched a pile of cotton. The audience watched carefully, only to see Chen Zhenglei's waist turning back and forth like a bearing, dissolving the other party's wanjun force one by one, while his feet did not move. Although the "big man" felt strange, he was still not convinced, and he also stood on his horse, luckily, letting Chen Zhenglei push him. Only to see Chen Zhenglei gently clap his hands, the "big man" stomped on his toes and retreated one after another.
"Amazing, it's really Tai Chi Shen Gong!" At this time, the "big man" only gave a thumbs up.
Chen Zhenglei-3
In this way, Chen Zhenglei has successively visited Japan, the United States, Malaysia, Polynesia, France, Switzerland, Italy and other countries, as well as Taiwan, Hong Kong and other regions, giving lectures and teaching art. He has personally taught more than 10,000 students, which is really full of peach and plum.
Among Chen Zhenglei's disciples, the more famous ones in China are Wang Erping, Ding Jie, Wang Haijun, Zhang Dongwu, and so on. Among them, Wang Erping has won six consecutive national championships, and the rising stars Wang Haijun and Zhang Dongwu have also won the national championship several times.
There are also many foreign disciples of his, famous ones are Li Dongchu of South Korea, Yue Liming of England, Carlo of Italy, Jeff of the United States, etc., among which the young Jeff of the United States and Chen Zhenglei have the deepest master-apprentice friendship.
Jeff is 193cm tall, from the NBA's hometown of Chicago, USA, and is said to be suitable for playing basketball, but he is fascinated by Chinese tai chi. He studied boxing very hard, and the American teacher who taught him boxing subscribed to many magazines about Chinese martial arts, and one day, the teacher pointed to one of the articles and said to Jeff, "If you want to learn real tai chi, learn from him." And the author of this article is Chen Zhenglei.
Therefore, Jeff immediately contacted Chen Zhenglei. In July 2000, when Chen Zhenglei went to the United States to give a lecture, Jeff finally met him as he wished, and soon came to Zhengzhou, China in September of the same year to begin his academic career.
Chen Zhenglei said: "Jeff loves tai chi very much, and he actively promotes to many people that tai chi can exercise the body and cultivate the body. "Yes, Jeff preached that to people at the first opportunity. Once on the train to Hong Kong, Jeff met two Britons who had come to China for tourism, and he chattered to them about Tai Chi, and the two Britons were really fascinated, and even got off the train in Zhengzhou halfway in advance, just to see Chen Zhenglei, the heir of Tai Chi.
Chen Zhenglei has been employed by more than 50 tai chi organizations at home and abroad as a tai chi consultant, honorary chairman and honorary president.
In addition to practicing martial arts and teaching boxing, Chen Zhenglei is also committed to excavating and sorting out the culture of tai chi. In 1982, when the state put forward the work requirement of "rescuing Chinese martial arts and doing a good job in excavation and sorting", Chen Zhenglei, as a descendant of Chen-style taijiquan, was obligated to take up this burden.
Chen Zhenglei knew that in Chen Jiagou, ancestors such as Chen Xin, Chen Ziming, and Chen Zhaopi wrote books and lectures one after another, but they were all expositions on boxing, and the theory was profound and difficult for beginners to understand.
Taijiquan, as a strange branch in Chinese martial arts, has its own unique features in fitness, health maintenance, self-defense, and fighting, how to enable beginners to understand and learn as soon as possible, Chen Zhenglei decided to find another way.
However, Tai Chi has a long history and profound theoretical works, and it is indeed not easy to make trade-offs between the expositions of the ancestors and systematically and popularly sort out the books!
Therefore, every day in the leisure of practicing boxing and teaching boxing, the lights in Chen Zhenglei's room were always lit until late at night. He has a wide range of knowledge and systematically organizes various tai chi materials. The Chen-style Taijiquan theory, boxing routines, and instrument routines were systematically sorted out.
Kung Fu pays off. Millions of words of works such as "Chen's Taijiquan Huizong", "Chen's Taijiquan Health Preservation Technique", "China's Chen Jiagou Chen's Taijiquan Technique", "Ten Duan Gong Fa Theory" and other works have finally come out, and some of them have also been translated into multiple languages and published in the United States.
Japan, Spain, South Korea, France and other countries are loved by tai chi enthusiasts of all colors.
In 1988, the Higher Education Publishing House recorded the teaching film "The Ancestral Transmission of Chen's Taijiquan Technique" explained and demonstrated by Chen Zhenglei; in 1996, the People's Sports Publishing House recorded a series of teaching films on Chen-style Taijiquan, sword, push hand, and health maintenance gong taught by Chen Zhenglei, and translated them into Japanese, English, Korean and other foreign languages for distribution to countries around the world; in 2000, it also recorded the Chen-style Taijiquan Old Frame One Road, The Second Road, single sword, Taijiquan Pusher, Fist Appreciation Revised Edition and Chen-style Taijiquan New Frame One Road, Health Gong Teaching Film. It is published by the People's Sports Publishing House and the Yellow River Audio-Visual Publishing House.
Now, Chen Zhenglei is already a famous Taijiquan master all over the world, and he has worked hard to spread Taijiquan. Talking about the inheritance and development of Taijiquan, Chen Zhenglei said with great confidence: "Let the children practice Taijiquan. Not only let them learn tai chi, but also let them go to college, and with cultural knowledge, they can better inherit the culture of tai chi. ”

In 1983, Mr. Lee Jiong Chai, Minister of Internal Affairs of Singapore, brought a taijiquan delegation to Visit Wenxian County, China, when China and Singapore had not yet established diplomatic relations, when they saw Chen Jiagou's Taijiquan, they greatly appreciated it, and specially invited China to send Chen-style Taijiquan instructors to Singapore to teach Chen-style Taijiquan. In order to promote cultural exchanges between China and Singapore, the state sent Zhu Tiancai to Singapore to teach, and Zhu Tiancai became the first Taijiquan master in chenjiagou to officially teach boxing abroad.
At that time, Singaporeans had never seen Chen-style tai chi, and Zhu Tiancai held his first performance at Singapore's "Bustling World Stadium", which was visited by Singaporean state officials and martial arts enthusiasts, and the stadium with a capacity of 6,000 people was full. His Tai Chi Kung Fu gave people a shock, and his physical movements gave people a beautiful enjoyment, which made all the audiences marvel, open their eyes, and the applause was endless.
For a time, the major media in Singapore competed to report, saying that they "finally saw the true meaning of tai chi". Zhu Tiancai taught boxing in Singapore for seven months, trained nearly 400 trainees, and had extensive exchanges with people from all walks of life in Singapore, enhancing friendship, and Chen Jiagou Taijiquan sensationalized the entire Lion City.
As a messenger of Taijiquan culture, Zhu Tiancai's "Taiji Diplomacy" has built a bridge of friendship between China and Singapore, and Zhu Tiancai is known as "the founder of Singapore's Chen-style Taijiquan". In 1985, Zhu Tiancai served as a coach at the Wushu Gymnasium of the Henan Provincial Sports Commission and went to Singapore several times to teach tai chi. In spreading the Chen style of Taijiquan, he not only taught the art of boxing, but also taught the Chinese culture of Taijiquan. He believes that Taijiquan is not only a fitness and self-defense technology, but also a science, integrating medicine, mechanics, science, aesthetics and philosophy, and has a rich connotation of ancient Chinese culture and elegant civilization. When exchanging tai chi skills with foreign friends, Zhu Tiancai is always humble and humble, and even if he is skilled, he never bullyes others.
Once in the United States, Zhu Tiancai and a foreigner practiced boxing skills, Zhu Tiancai only used a flick, he "whizzed" the other party out, knocked down two people next to him, and then fell to the ground outside a mile away. The onlookers exclaimed, unable to see what trick it was, and asked the person who fell to the ground, he was also inexplicable.
In the face of everyone's amazement, Zhu Tiancai always told them: "It's not that I'm good at kung fu, it's just that I have the opportunity to use the right tai chi, and if you practice well, you can also do it." In the midst of a wave of praise, Zhu Tiancai maintained this humble attitude, which made him deeply popular with foreign taijiquan
Positive feedback from enthusiasts.
While carefully passing on boxing and educating people and carrying forward the culture of Chen-style Taijiquan, Zhu Tiancai also deeply studied taijiquan theory, excavated and sorted out the theoretical literature of Chen-style taijiquan, combined with his own experience, published and distributed taijiquan monographs such as "Authentic Chenjiagou Taijiquan", "Erlu Cannon Pounding", "Secret Transmission of Chenjiagou Taijiquan Song Recipe" at home and abroad, and also published papers such as "Analysis on Chenjiagou Taijiquan Routines" and "The Entanglement and Silk of Taijiquan". Recently, it has also published and distributed the CD-ROM of "Chen's Taijiquan Teaching", and sorted out "Introduction to Chen's Taijiquan" and "Chen's Taijiquan New Frame I and II".

Now, Zhu Tiancai has been teaching tai chi in Singapore and other countries and regions for a long time, and at the same time, he is still practicing himself assiduously, constantly improving his tai chi skills in the midst of tireless teaching. Tai Chi Eight Techniques
Forty-sixth time
Taijiquan takes tugging, pinching, squeezing, pinching, picking, squeezing, elbowing, and leaning as the center content, and on the basis of dipping, sticking, connecting, and following, it will grasp, hold, fall, slide, hit, fall, and melt into a furnace, and cultivate both inside and outside, becoming one of the best fists in martial arts.
The Eight Methods of Tai Chi refer to the eight basic techniques of Punching, Pinching, Squeezing, Pressing, Picking, Holding, Elbow, Relying on Eight Basic Techniques and Strength Distinctions in Tai Chi Chuan Techniques, which correspond to Bagua and Bafang one-to-one, respectively. Among them, the four positive methods are called the four positive methods or the four forehands, referred to as the four positives; the picking, the holding, the elbow, and the leaning are the odd methods, called the four corners of the law or the four corners of the hand, referred to as the four corners. The Eight Laws are headed by The Four Positives, supplemented by the Four Corners.
The first is 掤: Tai Chi boxing techniques hit, upward and outward force for the whip, used to dissolve or join forces to send people.
The two sides hold hands, the other side enters the offensive, advances with the hand, and I go against the direction of the enemy, with upward and outward strength, so that the strength of the other party can neither reach my chest, nor can it fall as it wishes, that is, it is vigorous. In Tai Chi Boxing, it is extremely important to be strong.
掤, Bagua is kan, and the direction is just north.
The second is the punch: tai chi boxing technique hits, and the horizontal force to the side is a pinch, which is used to use the force to lead backwards.
When the other party attacks, I dip his wrist and elbow, follow the trend of his advance and lead to the left or right side of my body, that is, on top of the opponent's strength, and then slightly add a small force to the side, so that the opponent's body is subjected to a larger side direction of the combined force, that is, the strength.
Tai Chi Thirteen Posture Sculpture
Pinch, gossip is far away, the direction is just south.
The third is squeezing: Tai Chi boxing strikes, squeezes the opponent, so that it loses the extrapolation force of the transport, which is used for the extrapolation of the next plate.
Attacking the enemy, sticking to the opponent with hands, arms, shoulders, and backs, so as to push forward, so that the opponent loses its balance and leaves the original position, that is, squeeze. Squeeze, gossip for the earthquake, the direction is just east.
The fourth is to press: Tai Chi chuan hits, the force is moved downwards as a press, which is used to suppress the opponent's forward attack.
The two sides hold hands, I use my hands down, through the strength of the whole body, at the same time to pull to themselves, so that the other party's heel off the ground, or to the side of the pull, so that the other party's body tilt, that is, press the force.
Press, gossip for exchange, the direction is just west.
Fifth, cai: when hitting tai chi boxing techniques, I either loosen or tighten, or pull out as soon as I fall, or sink first and then lift, or go along first and then reverse, which means the same as picking flowers and picking leaves, picking enemies, and picking for picking. The power used to face the opponent's upper support.
When the elbows of the two sides are held, or the wrists and wrists are connected, our side sinks, so that the other party resists and is supported, and I take the opportunity to lift the belt to make its heels off the ground, that is, to pick up the energy, the gossip is dry, and the direction is northwest.
Sixth, it is a tai chi boxing technique that shifts the enemy's strength and also subdues the enemy as a throw, which is used to destroy the balance of the opponent.
The other party attacks, whether one-handed or two-handed, I bear the strength of the other party and transfer the strength to the other party, bear the subordinate, conform to the direction of the opponent's strength; transfer from myself, change its direction, so that the action is arced. That's the momentum.
挒, Bagua for Kun, southwest of the direction.
Seven is the elbow: Tai Chi boxing hits, with the tip of the elbow to hit the person, called the elbow. The elbow method is extremely numerous and extremely flexible.
The two sides approached, hitting the enemy with their elbows, very sharp, and easily hit the ribs or other important parts, causing the enemy to be injured. Using the tip of the elbow to sink the enemy to form the strength of the traction is also the elbow method.
Elbow, Bagua for Gong, northeast of the direction.
Eighth, rely on: Tai Chi boxing techniques hit, with the shoulder back and crotch outside the trembling, bouncing, bumping against the enemy attack as a lean, both sides use when close.
When the two sides are close, when the situation is opportunistic, they hit the crotch of the shoulder to defeat the enemy, that is, rely on strength. The timing cannot be used to rely on it, the other party can easily transform, but it will be attacked by the enemy, so it is used by remembering caution.
Leaning, gossip for Sundanese, direction southeast.
To be continued...
