Aaron Taylor Johnson, the actor who played Quicksilver in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, personally confirmed that the role would not return anytime soon.

Quicksilver appeared in Avengers 2, but sacrificed himself to save people. The character has not been seen since.

Although there have been several previous hearsays that Quicksilver will return, they have all been confirmed to be false news. Recently, Aaron denied rumors of his return to the MCU in an exclusive interview with Screen Rant.

There are now more Disney+ TV series projects besides movies, but Aaron insists that Marvel has not negotiated with him about the return of Quicksilver. He said:

"I think we're open to all possibilities, like the Marvel Universe over the years. I know the Disney+ platform and all the TV series going on, and I'm still in touch with a lot of people. I mean, I can say with certainty, no, I won't... There won't be a return of me or Quicksilver any time soon. ”
