As of September 2020, there are seven recipients of the national honorary title of "People's Hero", and they are all meritorious and exemplary figures who have made outstanding contributions to the construction and development of New China. On September 17, 2019, the first batch of national honorary titles of "People's Heroes" were awarded by a total of four winners, and this year three outstanding figures were awarded in recognition of the fight against the epidemic. 1. Chen Wei - "People's Hero" National Honorary Title
Chen Wei, in the 2020 commendation conference against the new coronavirus, won the national honorary title of "People's Hero". Born on February 26, 1966 in Lanxi, Zhejiang Province, Chen Wei is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a researcher of the Academy of Military Medicine, graduated from Zhejiang University in 1988, won the China Young Women Scientist Award in 2011, and was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2019. In this year's fight against the new coronavirus, Chen Wei led the expert team to Wuhan, making an important contribution to China's fight against the epidemic.

2. Zhang Boli - "People's Hero" National Honorary Title
Zhang Boli, in the 2020 commendation conference for fighting the new coronavirus, won the national honorary title of "People's Hero". He is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the president of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the honorary president of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. In 2014, Zhang Boli won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and in 2019, he won the National Outstanding Contribution Award in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Zhang Boli has made important contributions to the development of traditional Chinese medicine in China and the fight against the new coronavirus.

3. Zhang Dingyu - "People's Hero" National Honorary Title
Zhang Dingyu, People's Hero and Deputy Director of the Hubei Provincial Health Commission, was born in Wuhan in December 1963. On August 19, 2020, he won the 12th "Chinese Physician Award". In recognition of his fearless contribution to the fight against the novel coronavirus, he was awarded the national honorary title of "People's Hero" in September this year.

4. Ereti Mamuti - National Honorary Title of "People's Hero"
Ereti Mamuti, former deputy director of the Public Security Bureau of Hotan Pishan County, Xinjiang, was posthumously awarded the title of First Class Hero Model of the National Public Security System in September 2016 after being arrested in a suicide bombing attack. On September 17, 2019, the state awarded Argéti Mamuti the national honorary title of "Hero of the People".

5. Shen Liangliang - "People's Hero" National Honorary Title
Shen Liangliang, born in August 1987 in Wen County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, died on June 1, 2016, during a peacekeeping operation in Africa to prevent car bombs from rushing into the camp. On September 17, 2019, the state awarded Shen Liangliang the national honorary title of "People's Hero". On September 25, he was selected as the "Most Beautiful Strivers". He defended the safety of his teammates with his life, and he defended the dignity of a unit with his life, which deserves our respect.

6. Mai Xiande - "People's Hero" National Honorary Title
Mai Xiande, a native of Chaoshan, Guangdong, Chinese a combat hero of the People's Liberation Army Navy, was awarded the title of "Combat Hero" by the Ministry of National Defense. His 611 boat was awarded the honorary title of "Hero Boat at Sea" by the Chinese Navy. On September 17, 2019, the state awarded Mai Xian the national honorary title of "People's Hero".

7. Zhang Chao - "People's Hero" National Honorary Title
Zhang Chao, former first-class pilot of the Navy's J-15 carrier-based aircraft, in April 2016, Zhang Chao failed while piloting a carrier-based fighter, and finally died heroically in order to maximize the protection of the fighter. In September 2019, he was awarded the honorary title of "The Most Beautiful Strivers" and the national honorary title of "People's Hero".
